My first time here with my entire family for our Christmas party and it was great! Semi private room in the back, TV so we didn’t miss the Big 12 games, and I can’t say enough about the servers. They were amazing! The food was great and the drinks were now I know where to eat when we come into town to visit family! We usually go to some other places down 45, but not anymore. This is our new place!!

I was craving Beef Fajitas and decided to revisit Barcenas Mexican Grill in LaMarque. I was promptly greeted, seated and provided the menu by the hostess. The waiter, David came to the table to offer beverage service. I ordered Ice Tea which was delivered in a few moments along with chips and salsa. David had been my server about 6 months ago and recalled my patronage. There was no need to review the menu since beef fajitas were my mission. With my order in place i enjoyed the chips and salsa! About 15 minutes passed and David delivered a sizzling platter. The fajitas were tender and cooked to perfection, as well as the sides. David stopped by a couple of time checking on the meal and refilling tea. The meal was a success. David’s service was great. I paid the bill and was invited to return.

Great experience. It was my first time going. Venue is clean , staff is amazing, especially the two ladies(manager and waitress)that served me. Food was great,hot fresh and ready to eat. The only issue for me was the drinks are a bit expensive comparative speaking, otherwise I definitely recommend this Barcenas Mexican bar and grill.

We are regular customers at Barcenas Mexican Grill, and we have to give a huge shoutout to our favorite server, T-Roy! Every single visit, he keeps us entertained with his uplifting, fun personality and great sense of humor. His jokes always make our day.

The food here is already amazing, but T-Roy truly takes the whole experience over the top. He goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcomed and taken care of. If every server were like him, the world would definitely be a better place!

Highly recommend asking for T-Roy when you visit — you won’t be disappointed!

Fresh tortillas and charro beans taste like a little old lady made them! Good food overall lots of choices. The red salsa was good and green salsa was great.! All day breakfast! Great job from the wait staff super friendly and attentive! I don’t know why I have tried it before! Prices are a bit high it was $55 for breakfast for two.

Everything was amazing. We had the birria enchiladas and quesabirria tacos. Ending with churros that that had a sweet milk based filling, topped with ice cream, chocolate syrup, dulcet de Leche syrup, and whipped cream. Amazing all around. Will definitely recommend and return.

Always fantastic food and good service! The margaritas are amazing and you can purchase them Togo! I’ve never had a dish here that I don’t like. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The employees are friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place is you’re craving Mexican food!

Couldn’t get our rental car until noon so we came here and they are the kindest souls and the food is good! They let us bring our luggage in, snack on chips and dip & wait here. Avis wouldn’t even let us tuck our suitcases away in a corner while we came over to the bathroom. But this restaurant is amazing with such kind people!!! That’s hard to find these days
