Amazing place with lots of options for wine, cocktails, and tapas. Their wine list is extensive and the staff is knowledgeable about it. The gin and tonic cocktails were delicious. And everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We recommend the roasted cauliflower, homemade ricotta, marinated boquerones, championes, and pan con tomate. We also tried the empanadas but wasn’t a fan of the sauce it came up with. The basque cheesecake tasted great but a bit dry. Recommend reservation if you want a table but plenty of spots available at the bar.

The restaurant boasted a warm atmosphere, thanks to its quiet setting. The appetizers, including Jamon & Manchego Croquetas and Patatas Braves, were delectable. The drinks were also impressive. The atmosphere was moderate, conducive to conversation. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant due to its extensive entree options. I aim to return and sample their Paella. Valet parking is the norm, unless you arrive ahead of time.

Finally Barcellona in Houston. Coming from Boston with 3 locations and love this small authentic Spanish experience. Something is missing tho compared to Boston…. Unlimited warm bread … very good and tasty. With all the taps the bread is a must (focaccia is good but not as the bread offered in Boston). Plus the menu (very similar) has some missing key tapas. Large plates are the same and they are all good. Charcuterie are almost the same and very good. Definitely to come back again. Note from last nite: very impolite huge table with people screaming loud. This is no acceptable. But on the positive side… the manager and the entire stuff hell is to live in more quite location of the resturant. Great customer experience. The only missing thing from Boston is the vibe…. This seems another Houston resturant while in Boston they create a unique experience …. Maybe check it out

From the vibes to the tapas to the wine, words can’t express how much I enjoy Barcelona Wine Bar. I’ve been to this location twice, and each time I’ve enjoyed every minute. I’ve tried my fair share of tapas here and I would have to say my favorites include the albondigas (meatballs), beef empanadas and patatas bravas. The olive oil cake is a must too – a dessert I was pleasantly amazed by.

I’m glad my girl choose Barcelona for my first time having tapas. Largest selection of wines and cheeses. The food tasted on point. Well seasoned and nothing was overcooked. Service was top notch, I was surprised how quickly they got wine and the dishes out. Would definitely do again. Wednesday was pretty low key. Tables are super close.

I visited Houston Texas – Barcelona from out of state and was treated with top tier customer service from the moment I arrived . I had the pleasure of being introduced to Zachery who shared the history of the location and Barcelona’s rich wine selections as today was a surprising 1/2 price for wines . Zachery was very hospitable and checked on me during my dining experience . My assigned waiter was Isaac who absolutely made my experience worthwhile as I shared with him I was a pescatarian and he guided me to the Reddish A La Plancha … which was CHEF’s Kiss !! Each time I visit this region I will return to BARCELONA !! I was most comfortable and enjoyed the entire experience and staff ! Barcelona is a jovial culinary experience that’s positively unforgettable

We came with a group of five friends for a Sunday brunch and we had an absolutely incredible time! The wine selection was great, and our server made excellent recommendations as well. We enjoyed the food as well. Payton and Jas were an absolute delight and provided both all star service and conversation. We will be back! Great spot for a Sunday Funday, and would love to try it for a date night as well.

We’ve had two very pleasant visits to Barcelona. Management here are very engaged and welcoming. Service is outstanding. I love that dirty plates don’t sit on the tables. They’re on top of it. That’s especially notable because the tables are somewhat small. I will also say, we had a very awkward seat during our last visit that was right in the doorway. People kept swiping my friend. Aside from that, we have tried a good portion of the tapas. The variety is the best part, along with the Mediterranean flair. A little something for everyone or for your mood. The one I like the least was definitely the pork belly, otherwise, I recommend trying a handful of plates with a friend. Great wine selection, of course. We took a bottle home during our first visit. Vibrant atmosphere. Valet and street parking.

First timer in 2026 and what a burst of energy, flavor and ambiance at Barcelona, vale! Come here for the flavorful tapas, limitless wine options and lively, late night atmosphere. Easily a place to become a regular! Accommodates groups of many sizes, solos can hang by the bar and enjoy a kitchen that stays open late!
4/5 stars for service that was saved by the kind, generous and fun hostess who, once realizing we’ve been waiting over 15 minutes to get our drink order in, took our complete order and comped a couple items. That service is what makes this place shine beyond what it already does.
