The wait was long, but totally worth it. We waited about an hour since we were a group of seven, but as soon as we were seated, the manager came over and offered us a complimentary platter (first photo), which was a really nice touch. Shortly after, our server took our order.
The tapas arrived first — a bit small for the price, but absolutely delicious. The patatas bravas were excellent. After about 30 minutes, the main dishes arrived: the parrillada and the paella salvaje (second and third photos). Outstanding flavor and excellent service throughout.
They always pay attention to the small details. 10/10 ⭐️

Had a fantastic dinner this evening. Menu was easy to read and understand and waitress was very knowledgeable. The food was well seasoned and was enough to share! It was quite dark in the restaurant although it is the atmosphere they are going for it was dark reading the menu. All servers were very attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend stoping by for dinner when visiting charlotte

I celebrated my bachelorette party at Barcelona in December, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience.
From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was spectacular, every tapa we tried was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can genuinely taste the quality and care that goes into each dish. It made such a special night even more memorable.
What made the evening truly unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service. Audrey, the manager, went above and beyond. She surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine for a toast and even took the time to handwrite a heartfelt congratulatory card for me. That personal touch meant more than she probably knows. She also gifted my husband and me two tapas to enjoy on a future visit, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture.
Our server, Ashlyn, was equally amazing. Attentive, kind, and incredibly warm throughout the entire evening. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and that our group felt well taken care of.
Celebrating such an important milestone surrounded by family and friends in a place that made us feel so welcomed and celebrated was truly special. Barcelona will always hold a beautiful memory for me, and I can’t wait to come back.

Everything was great, the wait is definitely worth it but they should improve their reservation system because we had to wait over 30 minutes to finally get our table, if you are looking for a quiet place to get some dinner or something this is not, very noisy but fun! Good music and food!

We started with a sangria, which was refreshing and really well balanced—definitely a great way to kick off the evening. The tapas-style menu made it fun to try a variety of dishes and share everything at the table. Service was very quick. Has a long wait time but bar is a perfect spot- first come, first serve!
Some of our favorites were the potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower—each dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The hummus and breads were also great, simple but really well done and perfect for sharing.
The atmosphere was lively but still relaxed, making it a great spot to spend time with friends over good food and drinks. We wrapped up the night with dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.
Overall, amazing food, great drinks, and a wonderful vibe. Definitely a place I’d come back to when in Charlotte.

Went here for a little girls night while visiting. Everything was delicious and great portions. The white sangria was sooo yummy! One of the managers, Abby, was so sweet and made sure everything was great too!

I absolutely love Barcelona wine bar CLT. As a clt native and seeing the city grow so much recently, this has been one of the best restaurants to come with that. My boyfriend and I have been coming here a lot recently over the past few months, and we’ve always had an amazing experience. We even had reservations on Valentine’s Day and quality and service was still top tier as always. I used to be a General Manager at a restaurant so I fully understand the complexity that it requires to provide consistently good service and good food quality. Also our server tonight, Ashlyn, was as sweet as can be! Keep it up Barcelona

The food was outstanding. I had the stuffed dates (6/10), swordfish(9/10), chicken thigh (10/10), carrots (10/10). I felt like the dates were slightly out of balance, just a bit too sweet overall. The fish and chicken and carrots were all just fabulous. Every sauce was so delicious. I highly recommend this place depending on what you are looking for. The atmosphere is different depending on where you sit, because the inside feels totally different than the outside. Inside the restaurant is very very loud with industrial loft type furniture. I felt like the noise level was really high due to the concrete floors and abundant metal throughout the design and the music level. The outside had about 8 to 10 tables with lots of umbrellas up for shade. After sunset they light candles, so the ambience was really nice. The outside patio was also much quieter. They had 80s music playing low/mid level. I was originally sitting at a table right by the exit door, but it was really stifling. The waiter noticed me fanning myself and suggested that I move over by the fan. That helped immensely. That corner just must be in a dead air area. If I recommend anything to the restaurant it would be to add more fans out there. With the Charlotte Humidity seems fans are an absolute must when sitting outside in July.
