Wasnt impressed with the food and I figured theyd have more arcades. Server/ bartender was super nice and cool. Only scored 2 stars on service due to the 25% gratuity implemented on the tab. As expensive as the drinks were, its crazy. Never seen that on a tab for 2 people. Doing the math it was actually 27%
Update after reading the other reviews: there was a review about how they dont have a drink menu because the owner said it “would be impossible”. He probably meant to say “impossible to secretly charge for any ingredients in your drink”. Theyd charge for salt if they could. I played it cool because i was on a date, but catch me otherwise? Oof
WONT GO AGAIN.
I wish i would have read reviews. Go to Cidercade

I liked the place. They were doing a lot of construction, which I found strange for a Thursday night when a bunch of people were there, but hey, it’s not my bar. The bartender was super nice. They had big shots and a nice area to sit outside, even if people were hanging lights and stuff. I’d check it out if I was in the area again; the games looked cool. The bathroom was decent.

Went on a Tuesday and bartender was very friendly and games were cool but it is just way too over priced on drinks and they do an auto gratuity of 25% which is unheard of and glad that I saw it because its not mentioned to you. I do not think I will go back due to the prices just way too expensive with no specials especially for a Tuesday night out.
Ah yes let me edit since management trying to call me out I did play 3 free games of pool only no other games that i would have gladly paid $3 or $5 for instead.

Update: The manager/owner did reach out and make things right!! He said it was posted inside the restaurant about the autotip of 25%. We were seated outside.
Food and service were great. They came and said they needed to tab me out. I asked for an itemized bill. She said she couldn’t get me one until after I paid. I told her I wasn’t going to pay without seeing an itemized bill. She said I can’t get you an itemized bill. You can look on my screen and see what you ordered. So I looked and said I don’t think we had 6 wines. I decided not to argue with her. So I couldn’t see the subtotal or that there was an auto tip. So I tipped 20%. After I paid and had the receipt sent to my phone it showed they charged an auto tip of 25%. So I tipped over $92. So even though the service and the food were great I won’t be back!! Buyer BEWARE!!

I wish I would have known there was a 25% auto gratuity. I would understand if we had a larger group, but there was only 3 of us.
The manager told me all checks get an auto gratuity added. Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Pretty upset about the extra unknown charge.

This place is okay. The games were a bit expensive, and the food was just okay, definitely not worth the 25% AUTOMATIC TIP. The server didn’t even let us know, so we all tipped on top of the automatic gratuity! So I gave approximately 50% worth in tips. For that reason alone, I haven’t come back. It’s a bit predatory.

I walked over to grab a quick drink yesterday 1/15. My first time there even though I’ve lived in the area for 10 years. Because I had a friend who got charge an $50 tip on an $5 tip bill years ago and that bartender was “fired”. Yesterday I ordered a sun cruiser (canned) drink something that every Dallas bar charges around $7 for and it was $11…. Something doesn’t add up. Now reading these comments it seems maybe there is a 25% auto gratuity which wasn’t told to me when I asked for my tab and was told verbally it was $11 without a receipt. I left an additional 20% tip and now feel scammed. I’ve lived over here for 10 years and have Airbnbs in this neighborhood. I will definitely recommend my guest to avoid this place.

Old school meets new school at Barcadia. From Gen Z, to Baby Boomers, all can be found having a great time, and lively conversations here. Definitely in need of a revamp, which I hear is coming soon, however it will maintain its original charm, with a few upscale perks. Although smaller than some other arcade spots in town the affordable games, food and cocktails along with live music on certain nights makes it an excellent option. If you’re an outdoor person they offer seating for you as well. Dallas can be quite warm day or night, and you’ll feel it, if they have the garage doors open to the patio, so dress accordingly. You’ll enjoy the staff who go out of their way to make every guest feel at home. Parking can be tricky in the area if their lot is full. I’m sure my rating will go up after the remodel, however it’s worth enjoying now. You just might run into me. XOXO LORENZO!

BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! They don’t provide a drink menus, and charge you a gratuity without providing a receipt! The owner Calvin claims that all bars in DFW does it!! Trust me STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Under the new management they have predatory practices!! It’s not worth it! They are hustling people out of their money!

Never thought much of this place until walking in by accident! The vintage arcade games are a must! Keep the tab open while you wait to use the machines because you’ll finish your drink before you are able to have a turn playing. Be sure to bring all your spare quarters ahead of time as you will need them all. Believe me!
