one thing I always consider when looking at reviews is the size of a town. Why? Because in a very small town people will often rate a restaurant more highly than it deserves because they want to protect it, they want to ensure that it stays afloat, which can be tricky in small towns.
But after going here as a visitor, I can see it really does deserve the high rating that this restaurant is getting. It was excellent food, generously portioned. I had one of the breakfasts, which came wiith the choice of toast made from their homemade bread. What a treat! The staff was friendly. The other patrons were cautiously friendly (to be expected in a small town where everyone knows everyone, and they all don’t know you LOL). For a small town, this restaurant is massive, looks like they could seat 50-100 patrons! As you can see from my photo, the decor is utilitarian, but bright and pleasant and clean.
An altogether pleasant dining experience.

Great option if you’re looking for a classic diner experience. The ham and cheese omelet was excellent, though the grits were a little dry for my taste (that might be a Southern thing?) Affordable portions, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service.

I placed a to-go order today for lunch during work hours. I ordered a cheeseburger and hand-cut fries. It is fantastic! Speedy service and delicious burger. Yum!

We were looking a place with local atmosphere & food and were surprised at how few places we could find in the area. We stopped here for Sunday lunch and had the small but tasty buffet. Food was pretty good but we soon realized most of the locals were ordering from the menu and wished we had done the same. Nice people and they make good iced tea ! GOOD TEA is not always easy to find when traveling.

I got the special pulled pork and fries with coleslaw. The pulled pork sandwich was so soggy the bottom of the bun was stuck to the tray the fries were not hot the coleslaw was warm it was not worth what I paid for it . And I do not know if it’s true or they have done something about it by now but I was told from a former employers mother that they have cockroaches ..she said she had to have her daughter change out of her work close before she came in the house so that she didn’t get them … But I think it should be check out .. I for 1 will not be eating there anymore.. and this isn’t the only this time my food wasn’t any good I ordered the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and the roast beef was burnt .

Absolutely fantastic food. The bread here was delightful, you could tell it was home made, just like the rest of the food here. I really love the sausage they included with their meals. The building was clean and the service was pleasant. Just absolutely delightful home cooking.

The food was not good at all. My husband had liver and it was dry and overcooked, his salad had a unripe tomato on it and all we want to know is why any waitress would bring this to a table. I know it’s just Belington but that’s why you should do better!! My dressing tasted sour and it was really odd.
