1) This is what we got instead of Jersey Mike’s.
2) Moe’s has been in Opelika for years, so burritos aren’t a new thing.
3) Chips. Some were so stale I couldn’t eat them will other chips (in the same serving) were fresh and crispy.
4) The burrito. If “blah” was a flavor, this would be it. I think I’ve bitten cardboard with more flavor than the burrito. There was absolutely no seasoning in this thing, and it showed.
5) The atmosphere. I placed my order from the website, and picked it up from the rack. There were a lot of people behind the counter standing around on their phones. Kind of weird that they had nothing to do, since this is a restaurant.
6) Parking sucks. This probably isn’t their fault, but it plays into the experience.
7) Overpriced for what you get
The only positive thing I can say is that they have good salsa. It’ll be a long time before I give it another try.

We recently had the opportunity to try Barberitos for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations! The food was fresh, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Despite the high volume of guests during the grand opening weekend, the team remained cheerful and attentive.
Although there was a small issue with our order, the manager, Mark, addressed it promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience. We truly appreciate the excellent customer service and look forward to making Barberitos a regular dining spot.

Just awesome. So glad to have one of these here in Alexander City now! Definitely worth a visit. I think they are better than Chipotle in almost every single way. The fajita veggies are fresh and crisp, the guacamole is phenomenal, and they have free chips and salsa. THE SALSA IS AMAZING. All three of them! We can’t wait to go back.

I wasn’t impressed by Barberitos personally. The burrito was not seasoned at all and was soggy as if it had been steamed even though I selected grilled in the options. There was also an unpleasant odor as soon as I walked through the door. The service was ok at best but when I added chips and salsa with an additional side of guacamole I still expected to get the salsa. Also, $4 for a medium cup of guacamole that was a tablespoon at most was ridiculous. I’m not saying these things cannot be fixed but I will definitely be giving it a while before I return.

Absolutely horrible. I ordered a spicy chicken quesadilla and the amount of salt made my jaws clench the chicken was absolutely nasty so I asked for a remake with regular chicken and 15 mins had gone by after asking and my family had already finished eating and when I asked where my quesadilla was it was just sitting there behind the counter so now I’m going to assume it’s cold because she asked the other girl why she never brought it out to me . The girl who took my order back got an attitude when I asked for a refund because I said the chicken was too salty and she told the other lady I said it was too spicy I wouldn’t order something spicy if I don’t like spicy ! Horrible service .

First time going there. Ordered a steak and cheese quesadia. Got the cheese NO steak. Priced way too high! How can you leave off one of two items? Paid for steak, didn’t get it. Will not be back.

Ordered 2 custom burritos, waited 1 hour, still didn’t have our food, got a refund. Out of forks and spoons and banana. Tortilla chips everywhere. Out of receipt paper. Really loud, not able to have a conversation while waiting. Multiple families came in after us, ordered, ate, and left.

Food took 40 minutes to come out and they were not busy, multiple workers were just standing around while 2 women actually worked to prepare everyone’s order! If u don’t have any where to be i would recommend but other than that i would not, def not for a quick lunch!
