Diana at Barbaritos on Whitesville Road in Columbus, GA provided an outstanding experience when I ordered catering for a group of 35 people. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful and attentive. She took the time to walk me through the options, made sure every detail was covered, and clearly cared about making sure everything went smoothly for our event. It’s rare to find someone who is both that organized and genuinely focused on helping the customer.

My husband and I go into Barberitos often and yesterday evening was by far the worst experience. The young lady making our food was extremely standoffish. She was also very heavy handed with the ingredients- we had to ask several times for her to take limit the amount off being dumped onto our burrito and quesadilla. We still enjoy the food but the service was not good.
As someone who used to work in the food industry I understand how important it is to provide the best service when handling other people’s food. I hope this review results in some sort of customer service training. It is needed.

First timer! I ordered online with delivery. Ordering was easy and it came quick. I really liked that my salsa was wrapped with tin foil over the cups to help it from not leaking. The guacamole was good. The bowl was okay…. it just seemed like it could of used a little more flavor same with the sauces. I would try again though.

Experience from 9/19/2025 approx 5:45 pm. Walked in with no line or people behind us. Man approached me with no acknowledgment until I acknowledged him. Told him I would like a bowl. He slapped down a bowl and immediately dumped rice in it which I politely said I didn’t want. I couldn’t see my choices because everything was covered and tops could not be seen due to condensation. As I tried to “pick” he would look blank out the window, grab my selection then immediately look back out the window as if agitated with me being there. I asked for grilled chicken and he slapped a less than full scoop so I asked for extra and that scoop was less than the first so I basically got one full scoop with 2 of his scoops. I asked for grilled onions and mushrooms and he threw a handful of raw mushrooms on top of my bowl and AGAIN, immediately raised his head with same blank look right out the windows. No smile…Nothing. My son and husband had a somewhat better experience behind me with the female on duty but nothing “Wow”. This is our second trip to this location after discovering another one beside the busy location downtown. I’d rather deal with the inconvenience of traffic and parking of the downtown location than the rudeness of this no wait location. It has no wait for a reason and I believe it’s due to the employees attitudes.

First time here, love the food! Everything was fresh, staff was great and service was quick! I highly recommend to try this place out! Steak Quesadillas was great, Taco salad was perfect as well. Chips were fresh as well as the salsa!

I’m kinda mad at myself for not giving them a second chance from awhile back. Ordered a lunch to go for 5 and they absolutely killed it. One of the best lunches for the price that I am truly considering making it a go to weekly. Great job! See yall again soon 🙂

This is the dirtiest restaurant I’ve seen in years. There is stuff all over the floor of the whole place, all the tables were dirty. We had to wipe our own. We were the only ones eating. There was no menu up and no menu available. No prices. They were out of several items. Why is the trash can like this when no one is here? I was able to take photos because they’re in the back hanging out. There’s cakes up filth on the napkin dispenser by the drinks. The queso came out of a container that looked like it had held it for days. I was afraid to even try the salsa. And to think we just spent $46 on a quesadilla, a burrito, and a burrito bowl.

It’s a hit-or-miss last time I went the burrito had a mildew smell not sure why. Before that the food was good. Then it went back to the smelly mildew again. Going to take a break from there.

Marked improvement – new store leadership has made a significant difference! Clean environment, food is appealing and tasty, and team members are polite and very helpful. Hopefully management recognizes the positive changes and adequately rewards everyone’s efforts.
