Update, eat here again for lunch and it was a lot better. I still wish their meat was warm, but the chicken bowl was good.

I hate to give this review a low grade because it’s usually pretty good, but I have to be honest. The rice had clunks (Pic attached), and the whole meal was cold. I also could not believe the small amount of chips with the meal (pic attached) The meal was almost $15.00 and you would expect more than this.
Again, this store is usually pretty good, but this time I was disappointed.

My daughter and I recently visited Barberitos in Anderson and had a very disappointing experience. We were the only customers standing at the counter, yet three employees ignored us for over 10 minutes while working on an online order. One did eventually speak and stated “hi, one second”. After waiting, I said we were ready, and another one replied “give me a minute” without even looking at us.
We eventually left. As we walked out, another customer (white female) came in and was immediately greeted and served. We were the only black customers there at the time. Based on how we were treated compared to others, I can’t ignore how that felt. I wanted to address the situation right then and there but my daughter asked me not to, so I obliged.
I won’t be returning!
And to make matters worse, the food didn’t look as appealing as it should’ve. Some of the items were so low that the young lady was scraping from the bottom.
Never again.

We walked in for a Take-Out order and tried the Better Chicken Burrito (spicy) and the Chicken Bacon Chipotle Ranch Quesadilla, which were both absolutely incredible. They are both loaded to the brim with toppings and substance. We also had chips & queso, which really was the cherry on top.
This is the spot to go if you’re looking for a massive burrito or a delicious quesadilla.

Feel bad to do this but uh, the spicy chicken strongly resembled dog food and was super dry which I understand it’s difficult to keep chicken in those metal hot pans. The place smelled bad. Nice workers, clean place. Wonder if I just got old meat, which still not cool for $13 buck bowl.

The food used to be good but is now lacking. I was turned off after i ordered the ground beef, my order was made, and then I was informed it is now ground turkey. It was not as good. The building was filthy!!!! It looks like it has not been cleaned since they were open.

My food was great. My companions tasted like a Shaker of salt was poured on it. The only difference was bacon, so that could have been it. Place had an odor that was not pleasant. I love the one in Greenville, this one just seemed off.

I got a ground turkey burrito and a spicy chicken burrito bowl. Asked for fresh jalapeño on the bowl and the employee put pickled before I noticed. My burrito was poorly wrapped and came loose in the bag on my way home, to the point I had to toss the tortilla and put the filling in a bowl. This isn’t the first poorly handled meal I’ve had at this location and will not be returning.
