It is a Texas BBQ place. The sauce is not sweet and mild. Good brisket and delicious baked beans. From the brunch menu we tried the smoked meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I have ever had a restaurant. Jennifer was a fantastic server, friendly, prompt and efficient.

The brisket looked like pulled pork. The burnt ends weren’t caramelized at all – very much just BBQ sauce freshly poured over some quickly cooked, fatty meat. The coated fries were really good, though.

This was our second time here since they opened, my wife had the half rack of ribs platter, Cole slaw was good, Mac and cheese was very good and sweet potato fries were very good. Our only complaint on her meal was the ribs were very under seasoned, almost like they had nothing on them at all. They didn’t even look like they came out of a smoker. I had brisket sandwich with onion rings, it was good but also under seasoned and barely smoked. Overall a good meal at a fair price but definitely been to many other BBQ places that were better. Server was good, but never stopped back to refill our waters. We will definitely go again sometime even though nothing “wowed” us enough to make it a regular stop.

Assistant manager was horrible and stated she was not responsible for their online menu. Ordered 2 burgers but received only 1 as there menu was out of date. My door dasher was awesome but I went hungry as my complete order was not received. BBQ Twist stated I’d have to order something else online and pay for another delivery fee rather than them substituting it. I was only called by my dasher after my other food was done and told the 1 burger was unavailable that was listed on the menu. I was able to order it online. Rather than give them more money or any of my business, I made a frozen pizza. My boyfriend was not impressed with his burger. Tasteless pulled pork. I wouldn’t eat there again.

I love the patio, it is super cute and feels private but there’s a lot of space, so it’s not crowded. It made for a great atmosphere for a dinner date. The pulled pork mac and cheese was great the first time I visited, as well as the brisket grilled cheese sandwich this time! They have a huge array of tap drinks to choose from, I found a few favorites quickly. The service was on point and the prices were right. This may become a new favorite for us!

On January 28, 2025, at 6 PM, our party of four arrived at the restaurant expecting a decent dining experience but were instead met with horrible service from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being slow with plenty of empty tables, the service was shockingly inefficient and frustratingly unorganized.
Food service was painfully slow—it took nearly an hour just to receive our order. We ordered a grilled cheese, pulled pork tacos, chicken tenders, and mac and cheese—a simple meal that should not take that long to prepare or serve.
Our server was largely absent, leaving us waiting long stretches without any updates. After finishing our meal, we waited another 20 minutes just for someone to pick up the bill.
Originally, I planned to pay with a credit card, but after the excessive wait and lack of attentiveness, we left cash on the table and walked out in frustration.
Adding to the disorganization, a woman who had called in a takeout order before arriving had to wait an additional 30 minutes for her food—on top of the 30 minutes she had already waited before arriving. This happened right in front of us while we were eating, confirming that the inefficiency wasn’t just limited to dine-in service.
With only three employees in the kitchen and three servers on the floor, the lack of effort to provide timely service was unacceptable—especially given how slow the restaurant was at the time. There was absolutely no excuse for the delays and lack of attentiveness.
This experience was beyond disappointing.

Repeat local customers, since you opened. Seating is spaced nicely, and you can hear conversation at your table nicely. Not your fault that the two ladies at the high-top next to us spent their entire lunch having a speaker-phone business call, and running in and out of the place several times. Brandon M. needs some decent co-worker help (!) — he was solo, and very courteous the entire time he hustled to serve us (party of three). Great food, variety and serving sizes.
