I was hoping more from the Barbeque Pit. Service was with a smile and the seating area was clean. Ordered pork plate with w sides that comes with roll or cornbread. The cornbread was the star on my plate with the bbq baked beans followed by the pulled pork and finally the cold store bought mac and cheese. The pulled pork had no smoked flavoring which was disappointing but was okay. No fatty pieces anywhere in sight which is surprising. The cornbread helped me push my beans and pork onto my fork and made me smile. Tea is super sweet so a half and half is recommended. That’s it.

1 star is 1 star too many. I ordered the turkey nachos and received pork . Took them back and got the turkey I ordered (should have just gotten a refund). They didn’t take the time to let the juice drain off the meat and ended up with a pile of soggy chips. The turkey was flavorless, the beans had a similar taste to canned baked beans, and the queso ended up mixing with the juice so I didn’t even taste any of it. The pictures reflect the poor quality.

There is no booster seats for children. Not very child friendly.
Lemon for their tea is out of bottle. No real lemons.
The service is good however you are charge more for a credit card charge.

I got 1lb of turkey to try although it was hot and tender it was definitely crockpot turkey. There was no smoke flavor at all. How can you call yourself a barbeque joint without brisket? You can see the crockpot juice in the bottom of my container. One sorry place for a so called BBQ joint.

Apparently, the staff can’t tell the difference between pork or turkey when making your plate.
I ordered turkey nachos and instead was given pork, and the person who was going to be eating them is allergic to pork. That could have been terrible if they had eaten them.
Then I go back and make them make me a new plate, and this is what I end up with…. All kinds of liquid at the bottom of the plate because they do not know how to drain the turkey before serving it and all the chips were soggy.
The chips in both of our meals were also very stale, probably because they leave them sitting out and not in an air tight container.
This place has definitely gone downhill and isn’t worth the money you pay to eat there.

Good lawd, it was delicious. I got the trash can (mainly because the name amuses me), a side of mac n cheese, and a half sweet, half unsweet tea. The service was amazing, and the food was even better. I WILL be back.

Ordered rib plate ribs had very little meat mostly fat Mac and cheese very bland baked beans were pretty good bbq sauce and corn bread was very good will try again but never the ribs or mac

This place was so good when I finished eating my to go order, I called them up to brag on them! They have been doing BBQ for 24 years. They make everything fresh every morning is what the lady told me. It definitely reflects in the food! Hands down best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. Be sure to try the macaroni and cheese and the baked beans as well. For dessert be sure to try the banana pudding. I will be trying the oreo pudding next time.
