Some people really need to have more patience! This was a cute little restaurant, with good food, and friendly staff! We did have to wait a long time for food, but they were busy, so we understood, and had patience! Everything was lovely, and we enjoyed our time there!

Our waiter Erin was awesome, the food was delicious and cheap. I loved all of the antiques on the walls.
Their rye bread is some of the best bread I have ever had. The omelette was fluffy and filled with toppings and meat. The potatoes were cooked perfectly.

This place rocks! The burgers are off the charts good. They get their meat specially blended from Shipshewana. I had the barnyard burger that is hamburger, sausage and bacon blended together and it was beyond delicious. And I got it with an egg and it was beyond messy. Lol the atmosphere is cool and kitschy with antique stuff everywhere. It’s a hoot! The owner is really friendly too. Only open for breakfast and lunch. You need to try this place.

We used Barb’s Wire Cafe to cater my sisters baby shower. I had a vision for what I wanted but also wanted to bring some of my other stuff. Barb, was FANTASTIC to work with from start to finish!
She was very accommodating and provided excellent suggestions. She even worked with our venue owner to deliver our food and make sure she had the appropriate dishes for our items. She was absolutely right about how much food we needed and went above and beyond with what was requested.
Barb was An excellent communicator. She updated me several times and gave me a lot of comfort going into my event date. I would highly recommend using her for your upcoming event!

I will no longer support a business that does not respect Americans first amendment right to free speech and general assembly. The owner believes the community she serves to be idiots in her own words. I’ve seen her multiple times talk down to her staff, the waitresses come and go and I can only imagine why after seeing it. I’ve waited extremely long times for food, I’ve had or order come out wrong, I’ve had these things happen multiple visits in a row and have never left a review. However, for this business owner to espouse a love of the constitution and America, then call her community idiots for the same values is too much. I expect more from my community businesses, and I will encourage others around to maintain those same values. Shame on Barbed Wire Cafe for their hate towards Americans and their own community, which spends their hard earned money there!
