Yo, I hit up Barbecue Works and got a taste of their BBQ pork ribs, and man, it was straight fire! They served it up with three hefty bones, and let me tell you, the meat was dripping with juice, just falling off the bone like it’s nothing. But the real MVP? Their homemade sauce, for real. That stuff’s so banging, I’m out here tryna cop a whole bottle of it to take home. If you dig that rich, smoky BBQ flavor, Barbecue Works is where it’s at. Those ribs? They’ll have you coming back for more, no cap!

It’s all right at least you can get a little taste of soul food in the Mall. Mac and cheese is ok I just wished they would use elbow noodles instead of penne pasta. Collard greens could be cooked a little bit more and the ribs are delicious they’re actually pretty good. Wings and fries are a staple here. All in all it’s good for what it is a store front restaurant in the mall.

So disappoint this past Saturday 10/31/2020 evening order 40 wings with no GP seasoning. It was plain and very dry. I miss the old employee working there since downtown Underground in Atlanta. I am done order and pickup. You just lost your best customer. You need to teach your young employee how to make GP wings. NO STARS!!!!!!!!!! The wings are nasty. ANGRY CUSTOMER !!!!!

Friendly service and food hits the spot. The pulled pork is tender and flavorful. The big rigatoni mac & cheese tastes better than you’ll get anywhere else. The sweet potato soufflé tastes like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Update: I tried the banana pudding and it was not good. The portion size was generous but the pudding had a funny, artificial flavor taste and there were no nilla wafer/cookies in the actual pudding other than the ones sprinkled on top and sides for garnish.

I’ve been sleeping on this place. Had the veggie plate. Beans were probably the best I’ve had in a few years. The Mac and cheese didn’t look great but I got it anyways. It tasted way better than it looked. Then I got the collard greens.. not usually a fan of collards but these were actually good too!!

I tried to call this establishment to try to figure out a solution for the terrible salads i purchased. We love to support black businesses however bad food is bad food. We ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads for 9 bucks a piece and we basically received wilted ruffage and frozen chicken strips that were extremely cold. We couldn’t even eat the salad because it was so bad and had to throw it out. I called several times so I wouldn’t have to drive back to the mall for a refund but like i thought, they didn’t answer. I don’t knock any black business, get your money but we as a people spend too much money on food and AS A PEOPLE you should definitely know what we do and don’t like when it comes to our food and cheap frozen food doesn’t work when you’re charging 9 bucks a piece. Please so better and we will never eat here again.
