I stopped by here once before, and they were closed during posted hours late in the day so they were probably out of food.
The featured item here in my opinion, is the ribs. They are smoked and seasoned just right, and are just fine by themselves but also pair good with both of their sauces
Ribs 5/5
Pulled Pork 3/5 – it was cooked good, but a bit dry and short on flavor for my taste.
Fries 4/5 – standard frozen crinkle cut lightly salted
Beans 3.5/5 – they taste a little spiced up out of the can, some ground beef added
BBQ sauce 3.5/5
Mustard sauce 4/5
These sauces might both be store bought, but it doesn’t matter since they both pair well with the meats.
The ribs alone will have me coming back. Good food!

I have family that loves eating here so I thought I’d give it a try. Well, I did and won’t ever eat it again. I got the pulled pork with potato salad and baked beans. The sides were ok, nothing impressive, potato salad was store bought 100%. The pulled pork was flavorless, I mean really like no rub, no seasoning, nothing on it. They gave me sauce cups but even those tasted store bought, which is fine, but had to have them to have any flavor on the meat. I like to try new things and don’t have a comment about it until I do. But yeah, this place was NOT good!

Food was good. First time there and was treated as if I was a regular. Collards and the fried fish were perfected. The sweet tea was good, I felt the pink lemonade was a tad too sweet but you’re expected to become a diabetic with high cholesterol when you eat in the south. Will return when in the area.

Staying in the area and wanted some real bbq for a birthday dinner. So after a good bit of research, we landed in this place based on the reviews. Didn’t look fancy & the food reviews sounded great. We’ve ate a lot of bbq and we’re looking forward to it. Unfortunately…we arrived around 5:30pm and didn’t realize they might run out of meats so soon into the dinner time. So they had a full rack of ribs left, which we took. Also tried out the fried okra, baked beans, and collards. We missed out on the mac n cheese which I definitely wanted to try & will get next time. We also got a pork chop dinner in case the ribs weren’t enough for both of us (but we ended up taking them home – they looked delicious). The waitress and the owner were super helpful and friendly as it was our first time there. Our food came out quickly and was hot. Have to say – we LOVED the ribs. I usually prefer baby back ribs – but these were amazing. Meaty, tender and their bbq sauce is SPOT ON. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Probably some of the best ribs and sauce we’ve tried -even after traveling thru Texas. We didn’t try the other sauce option – mustard based. The sides were all super yummy – but the collards – oh my – the BEST we’ve had we both agreed. We ordered some extra to take home. Dining area was tidy & comfy chairs. We will definitely be back – a bit earlier next time so we can try some other options before they sell out. GET THERE EARLY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Absolute worst food I’ve ever eaten. I picked it up for lunch for a friend and I and we both threw it away. The cornbread and macaroni and cheese was all i could eat. The rest went in the trash. The pulled pork and even the sause was just terrible and the collards tasted like they had been soaked in pickle juice!
It was horrible!!!! Save yourself, go to McDonald’s and you’ll at least be able to stomach it.

Visiting from Brooklyn, NY — this is hands-down the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Every item had real depth of flavor, perfectly smoked and seasoned. The service was friendly and genuine. My new #1 go-to spot for BBQ whenever I’m back in the South.

This was a “happen upon” barbecue joint on our way back from Amelia Island, Florida. We found it through a Google search and was mainly chosen because it was one of the only top ones that were open on Sunday. It was a small local place and very hometown feel on the inside. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt as well as the owner. I got the half rack rib plate with potato salad and side salad. The potato salad was typical Southern style and was good. The ribs and sauces were nothing less than fantastic. My brother had the trio with ribs, chicken and pulled pork and he too loved his. We both agreed this was some of the best, if not the best barbecue we’ve ever had and we’ve tried several different places. If you are ever in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Worst ever and their sweet tea (Trying to make everyone go into a diabetic comma? It was so full of sugar it was like drinking syrup.
