Short ribs are perfectly smoke and very meaty. Good sides, mac&cheese, beans, slaw, brisket chilly and cornbread of course. Sweat and spicy, Chipotle and Habonero sauces.

I’d like to think that, as a native Texan whose had their fair share of barbecue, that I’ve become versed in the qualities that make barbecue fantastic. We will literally be driving an hour to come back here. There’s only one other place we’ve found that is this good.
The burgers are fantastic, and the pulled pork is phenomenal. So good!!

Great family run BBQ! We had pulled pork, a side of cheesy potatoes and baked beans and a jalapenos cheese burger with home made fries. Food was great, loved the down home flavor and locals. Would come again and can recommend as a good place for food and company.

Found the Barbecue Bucket after our Lake 22 hike thanks to Google Maps and I am SO VERY GLAD WE DID!!! I’ve had burgers at many different places and never once have I felt compelled to review. But this place, the burgers… WOW!!! Taste better than homemade! Their beef is SOOO GOOD!!! Lots of options for meat eaters. Casual atmosphere. Very friendly service. We spent about $10 per person. Will make stopping by here a post-hike tradition!!!

We are making it a monthly family tradition to visit the Barbecue Bucket. The ribs and spud bucket are to die for. All the sauces are great from mild to the Rhubarb Habanero. Some of the best ribs we have ever eaten. The proprietors and servers are just wonderful. The last time we went, we dropped in on Sunday with 6 adults and two kids. They took the time to shuffle chairs and tables to accommodate us, even though they did not need our business right then. They were packed. This little restaurant is a jewel and is well worth the drive to Granite Falls.

It’s a hit or miss place. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s not. This time the first few ribs were good, brisket was good, but a little dry, and the pork was dry and chewy. Other times I have been here it was good. Others have been disappointing. Usually takes a year between visits and some pressure from a friend who wants to go. Just remember, it’s BBQ in the northwest, not the South.

Exactly what I expected and wanted. Very good BBQ, not the best I’ve had but by far not the worst. Definitely hit the spot I was trying to fill. Sauces were amazing. The habanero one was excellent not too hot, nice and tangy followed by some warm heat. I got a half pound of brisket and a half pound of pork. Both were larger servings then I expected probably more like a pound each. Brisket was a little dryer then I prefer but all around great flavor and smokeyness. 4/5. Would recommend and will be returning to try links and sides.

The real deal. I’ve been searching for Texas style BBQ ever since moving away from Austin, and this is the first restaurant in eight years of searching that passes the test.
The brisket is slow cooked, falling apart, and covered with a perfect “bark”. The sides are great. The sauce (served on the side) is flavorful, if a touch on the sweet side.
I’ll be coming back again soon!
