We were in town and celebrated a birthday here. The food overall was good and came in a decent portion. The only exception was the risotto that we ordered which really wasn’t done properly and really expensive for what we got. It was the mushroom risotto but it didn’t have a variety of expensive mushrooms. It was very basic and bland.

The food is very average. We liked the ambiance and service. We had the salmon eggs Benedict and the avocado toast. The avocado toast was not good at all. The Benedict was certainly better but nothing special.

My friend picked this restaurant for lunch today. We shared a Superfood salad and Ricotta Ravioli w/ half lemon sauce and tomato sauce. The food was not too bad except the salads were not fresh as I saw some greens turned yellow. They might need to make sure the Salads are fresh before serving to the customers.

Because La Jolla! This was one of the main draws to this restaurant. I had the Barbarita with Ghost Pepper Tequila for a little extra spice, but, to be honest I was disappointed by the spiciness level. My wife on the other hand, had the red Sangria and said it was quite good. To give a direct comparison, I had a Spicy Margarita made with a jalapeno simple syrup the next night at a wedding reception at The La Jolla Shores hotel, that was much spicier and fit the moniker. For food – my wife had the Salmon and I had the Seafood pasta and both were decent, but not worthy of their price based on their taste and execution of the dish. The decor is understated and a little hip with some neon style lighting. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating and you can’t have a much better location being a 5 minute walk to the Pacific. Just be prepared to shell out some cash for dinner here. We had a very modest family of 4 dinner with only 2 alcoholic drinks and the bill easily broke the $200 barrier

Nice atmosphere sitting outside. Good service. Chicken pamesan was mediocre as the chicken was pretty tough and dry. Broccolini was also a bit tough. Great of apps and drinks were reasonable.

This was a wonderful place with wonderful staff! Great engagement happened here which the staff gifted a great bottle of champagne to the newly engage couple. Staff and the people that patron here are wonderful, friendly, lively and all around great. I would without question recommend this place any day.
