I’m from Hidalgo so I know barbacoa. The actual barbacoa was decent. Needs some more herbs/salt. Salsas were good. Quesabirilla was good but the consome was a little bland. So overall the food was decent. Our server Elena was nice but there was another server there that chatted with a table forevvver and ignored everybody that was waiting on service. Place is clean. But unfortunately there is no AC here! It makes eating really uncomfortable and to be honest it really limits your choices because who wants consome in the heat!

To start off. Service was the worst. Our server (glasses) was extremely rude when asking questions about portions. When asked even after we told her we had never been here she proceeded to tell us it’s the size of the salsa bowl, yet how are we suppose to know that with no previous knowledge. The barbacoa was more bland than water. The glass coke that was served to me had a good amount of rust on the rim. Overheard the cook tell her our food was ready but she wasnt going to serve it yet because she was still busy filling the chip container. Only after the cook elevated his voice to her did she agree to grab the food.

It used be the best in vegas, sadly now I didn’t even wanted to eat more than 1 taco, after try it I didn’t want to eat more, it’s way to dry not fresh like it used to be, very obvious re-heating, not flavor.
