This Indian restaurant is one of those places you instantly love discovering. From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent. The person who helped me was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They even spoke a bit of Spanish, which made the experience more personal and fun—we joked around a bit and it felt very genuine.
What I really appreciated was being offered samples so I could choose the sauces I liked best. That made a big difference. I ended up with a lamb and chicken shawarma that was absolutely delicious—great flavor, well seasoned, and very satisfying.
The portion size is just right. I usually eat a bit more than the average person, and I left satisfied—not overly full, but definitely not hungry either, which says a lot.
The price is more than fair: $11.99 for a shawarma this good is a real hidden gem, not one of those so-called “gems” promoted by paid pseudo-influencers with no soul. This is genuinely good food made with care.
Service was fast, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the shawarma had incredible flavor. I’ll definitely be back and will bring my whole family next time. I just hope they have samosas available so I can finally try them.

The best shawarmas I’ve ever had, and the service was amazing. The owner let us try every sauce before ordering and when I tell you, that baraka sauce is some of the best sauce I’ve ever had. We will be coming back probably too much for our own good. The lamb gyro is the best, the chicken was also great.

Indeed, I feel truly blessed after eating at this restaurant. All the food is Halal, and the customer service is very kind. The food is great! Nice and Hot! Great for a cold day, especially now during the winter. But, honestly I see myself eating here year round.

I just had the best shawarma in my life! I got the large mixed Shawarma and asked to make it spicy. The meat was very juicy and so tasty. Highly recommend! It was filled to the max and was absolutely delicious! It smelled so good I forgot to take a picture before I started eating. Once I started eating I couldn’t stop. Owner was very kind!

Came here to grab dinner for takeout. The gentleman working there was very friendly and sweet and gave us samples of the sauce to try which was so nice. We ordered the falafel plate and the combination plate with hummus and 2 pieces of baklava. Everything tasted great and was made fresh. Will come back again!

I have been here twice and ordered the falafel plate each time. I’ve had falafel in about 5 other Mediterranean restaurants around town and wow! This is by far the best falafel I’ve ever had. I will keep coming back for sure. The service is impeccable and friendly. They want to make sure you get exactly what you want and are happy to do it. Don’t bother eating Mediterranean food anywhere else. This is the best!

I visited Baraka Shawarma with a colleague, and it’s tucked away in an older plaza that’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Inside, there was just one gentleman running the show, and it took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready as there were people ahead of us.
We tried the chicken shawarma, chicken and gyro shawarma, and my colleague ordered dolmas with a tabouli salad. The shawarmas were generously sized with a fair amount of protein. I really liked the bread they use, it’s the proper kind for shawarma and done perfectly. The sauces were nice, though the meat wasn’t quite as tender as I was hoping. My colleague said the dolmas were cold, but the salad was fresh and had a good portion of meat.
The owner was kind enough to offer us a small piece of gyro to try with his signature sauces. Prices seemed reasonable for the portions.
