Absolutely amazing experience!
We went to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary, and from start to finish, every single staff member made us feel so special. Our waitress (I believe her name was Jill) was incredible—genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. She was friendly, attentive, and so honest when helping us choose from the menu and drink list. My husband wasn’t sure what to order, so she asked what flavors he liked and didn’t like, then surprised him with a custom drink—and he absolutely loved it! She even made us a little heart cutout for our table, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The restaurant was quiet that night, which made it extra peaceful and relaxing. Jill checked on us throughout dinner, and later, when we went up to the rooftop bar The Highlander, she actually came up again to wish us a happy anniversary and see how we were doing. That level of care and kindness really stood out—it honestly felt like everyone there was happy to make our night special.

We also stayed at The Renegade Hotel, which is attached to Baraboo, and the staff there were just as amazing. They surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine and a sweet handwritten note for our anniversary. We had requested a higher-level room, and they made sure we got one. Every single person we interacted with—from the front desk to the cleaning staff—was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and full of stylish details that made the stay feel even more special.

Overall, the staff at both Baraboo, The Highlander and The Renegade went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back for our second anniversary and recommend Baraboo, The Renegade, and The Highlander Rooftop Bar to anyone, especially for a special occasion.

A supper club true to its Wisconsin origin. Having grown up in Wisconsin I really enjoyed the references- for example Third Ward is a lovely little street downtown Milwaukee and the the cocktail (pictured) did a great job capturing its essence. I also had the lavender blueberry seltzer as a gin and tonic.

We had appetizers, drinks, steak and dessert. It was about $100 per person. A lovely experience with delicious food. Jill our waitress was so fun and really elevated the whole experience.

The décor and atmosphere were absolutely amazing—elegant yet comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff and service were phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. And the food… simply out of this world! Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but food prices are up everywhere—and this place truly delivers the whole package. Worth every penny!

Tonight we tried Baraboo Supper Club for the first time. They are celebrating their 1-year anniversary and have 2 special prix fixe menus (in addition to the regular menu), so we wanted to try it out. It was a great deal. We chose the “prime selection” prix fixe for two which includes an appetizer to share, a soup or salad per person, an entree per person, and a dessert to share for $45 per person (and that still comes with the free crackers, pimento cheese, olives and candied jalapenos, too). It was plenty of food and it was all great quality. The food isn’t so amazing that you’re going to write home and tell your mom about it, but everything we had was great, very solid, very little to complain about, and for a great price. We each got a glass of wine with our meal, and that was quite a large pour for the price ($11). It’s nothing too fancy, no need to put on the suit and tie for this one, but just a good decently priced dinner. I would recommend it.

We came here for a belated Valentine’s Day celebration. I made reservations for 5:30 today, Wednesday.

Baraboo is located in the Renegede Hotel, which seems very hip and cool. My wife and I would like to stay there sometimes. Coming down 184, you take a left at 13th and a right on Grove and you’re there. Very conveniently located.

We arrived a little early and were sat almost right away. My only complaint is, even though I specified that we were celebrating and would like a booth, and the place was not busy at all, the man assisting the hostess tried to seat us at this small table for two right by the kitchen. I found that a little annoying. However, my wife asked for a booth and we were sat right across from the small table, still right by the kitchen. Still, it was a nice table.

Savannah was our server. She was very nice, helpful with the menu, and gave us great service. She brought us out a signature appetizer: pickled jalapenos, a cheese spread, olives, and club crackers. We also ordered the fried calamari. We’ve had better, but it was still good.

For our entrees, my wife had the 8 oz filet mignon with sauteed mushrooms and broccolini. She would have preferred the mushrooms to be roasted a little more, but she enjoyed everything. I had the 12 oz prime rib with brussel sprouts. The meat was good and ample; I couldn’t finish it all. I really liked the way they made the brussels. Sauteed and then charred to crispness, just the way I like them. Our entrees also came with house salads and our choice of dressing, made in-house. Very good.

We finished up and then went to the rooftop bar, which also has great ambience. Outside were fire pits and awesome views of the surrounding mountains and the downtown area. Or, you could grab an inside table by the window and enjoy the view in a little greater warmth for the cold night.

All in all, a great time was had at the Baraboo Supper Club!

Fantastic service and food. Loved the vibes inside as well, very 1940’s. Our server Jill was so much fun and knowledgeable. The bartender Colton is also highly skilled and made the best martinis. Highly recommend the whipped potatoes as a side to any entree. We had a wonderful time, highly recommend!

Wonderful dinner with my son. Calamari, yummm! Music was a bit much. Something more jazzy and elegant would have made the ambience perfect! Blake was wonderful and the service was great!!

Baraboo Supper Club is located inside of Hotel Renegade in downtown Boise which is a swanky rustic ambience with good food and good service. My server was very attentive and was quick to explain the menu after my party sat. He brought over a relish tray with olives, cheeses, jalapeños, and crackers. It was quite good. My friend ordered the half roasted chicken with citrus brine, fingerling potatoes, and caramelized onion. It looked very good! I had the Crispy Skin Icelandic Salmon with fingerling potatoes, broccolini & truffled onion sauce. It looked great and tasted amazing! The is a cool place that takes you to a different time. Would recommend!

Came here on 02/15 and I do NOT recommend. This place is overpriced with low quality food and service. We waited nearly two hours for soggy-watery salmon, like it was cooked in a dishwasher (I wish I was kidding). Our waitress was absent and when she did come to us, she asked if there was anything she could get us. Well, maybe our entrees we had ordered when you first took our order. There was no apology or update on the status of our food through this whole time. It seemed like she did not care we were waiting so long. Before we finally got the entree, the kitchen staff actually brought out our appetizers twice by mistake. He actually gave us an extra shrimp for free, which was kind of him. However, we left within 10 minutes of receiving our dinner because it was so bad. I noticed both tables by us also barely touched their plates. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Baraboo which is located inside the Renegade Hotel! Our party of six was warmly welcomed, and our waitress, Jill, provided exceptional service from start to finish. She was attentive, friendly, and thoughtful—right away, she asked if we wanted to place an order for our three-year-old, which we really appreciated.

The food was just as impressive as the service. We started with the oysters and fresh-baked cheddar bread, which was warm, cheesy, and delicious. Our entree, including the sirloin steak which wascooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a memorable meal.

Overall, the combination of great food and outstanding service made this a five-star experience. We’ll definitely be back!
