Beautiful hotel and restaurants and bar. We have been here few times for drinks, and recently for their brunch with jazz on weekend. It was epic. The music and the ambiance makes it a five star while food and service can be a little bit lower at four star and could some polishing up. The price is medium high standard 50$ per person without alcohol kind of meal (without tip). The steak is ok but not amazing, the bacon or fish supplement with spinach and egg Benedict is also good but not amazing and the desserts were underwhelming and quite mediocre and not worth the calories let’s just say. We really enjoyed the music, the hotel ambiance and the beauty of this place which brings us back and wish the food will reflect a slightly higher notch. Reservation is recommended for weekend especially.

Me and my boyfriend had high expectation with this place but it was extremely disappointed us. The service was terrible. We ordered steak tartare, roasted cod and prime grilled hanger steak. The tartare was served 30 mins after we order and the entree were served 30 mins after we finished our app. It was weird that the food took so long even though the place wasn’t busy. I saw the table next to us, they came and ordered food after is 30 mins but got the food the same time with us. When I asked the sever why did the food take so long but she said the food came within a reasonable time The food prices don’t reflect the quality of the service. Never com back again !

A wonderful experience to say the least. An outing for a live jazz brunch ambience and very elegant presentation. The taste was delicious! Our waiter was very kind and accommodating and will say I’ve come numerous times before between a snack, brunch, or glass!

Bar room in a hotel in FiDi. The interior is really pretty. Avoid getting seated near the entrance door – it’s freezing :/

– 6pm in Osaka ($19): 9/10, tastes straight like juice lol. Not very strong
– Paper plane ($20): 8/10, stronger and more tart, but yummy
– Cabernet red wine: 8/10, not usually a fan of red wine but this was smooth

I dined at The Bar Room at The Beekman during lunch. I had the onion dip which was delicious, so was the potato chips that it’s served with. For entree I had the short rib ravioli. The ravioli is why I was eager to dine here, I am always interested in a ravioli. I however did not like or enjoy this ravioli at all. From the first bite I didn’t like it, but I kept chewing hoping it would end up tasting better. The taste did not improve, it was the worst ravioli I’ve ever eaten. There was an unflattering taste to the ravioli and also the sauce it’s served in was salty.

Fantastic. Went for the Sunday Jazz Brunch and it was great! Food was excellent (the potato finger-lickers in particular were ) and the atmosphere with the live music was so good. Had the perfect table in the middle of the atrium, which they’d reserved especially for my wife’s birthday. Wren our server was super friendly and made the experience even better. Would 100% recommend and actually thought the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the setting. Definitely get the cookie if you have room for dessert! They also make a banging Bloody Mary.

Three stars because the ambiance is lovely and our server was excellent. He was clearly spread thin but remained professional, attentive, and gracious throughout our visit.

I don’t expect every non-vegan, celebrity-led kitchen to fully cater to vegans, but in a hotel setting, especially at breakfast, thoughtful plant-based options should be a baseline rather than an afterthought. Unfortunately, the menu felt surprisingly uninspired. The only viable choices were an avocado toast with honey (not vegan) and a raisin oatmeal, which came across as minimal effort rather than intentional design. For a chef of this caliber, I expected more creativity and consideration.

The hash browns were well-seasoned but gummy on the inside, likely due to being cut too large to cook evenly, and maintain quality.

Additionally, a cortado was listed on the menu, but what was served was a macchiato. Our server confirmed this is what they consider a cortado, which felt misleading and disappointing at this level of dining.

Weekend jazz brunch is such a vibe. Cocktails were spot on. We ordered a few starters to share and they were all very good. Service was just a tad spotty.

We came here for a friend’s birthday, a group of four. The appetizers (oysters, salad, and burrata) were very good, and the desserts were also enjoyable. The restaurant kindly gave us complimentary champagne, which we appreciated.

However, the main dishes were very disappointing. We ordered a burger, three lobster rolls, and ravioli, and every one of them was heavily oversalted and over-spiced, to the point that it took away from the flavors. Considering the bill came to almost $400, the quality of the main courses really fell short.

Overall, while the starters and desserts were nice, the main part of the meal—which should have been the highlight—was a letdown.

I had a great experience at The Bar Room at Beekman.

First, I want to highlight the charming qualities of the entire property. Upon entering the lobby, you are greeted by a kind and polite doorman who directs you to the front desk. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just joining The Bar Room for drinks at the bar or a snack at the tables, or even dining at Chef Daniel’s restaurant, La Gratin, you are in the right place.

The ambiance is absolutely stunning. With high ceilings, dim lighting, and sophisticated music, it creates a relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a long day.

We were seated by a friendly and professional hostess. Our server was a young lady who seemed to be one of the lead servers, as she managed several tables. Her knowledge of the food and beverage menu was impressive. Since we were looking for a snack after a late lunch, she provided excellent recommendations. The drinks were good; my cocktail was slightly sweeter than usual for a gimlet, but it was still well made. The wine selection is also impressive.

For food, we ordered a cheese board, which came with crostini, honey, and nuts. I must admit that the presentation could be improved. Given the variety of cheeses, it would have been better to serve them on a board rather than a regular plate, with the additional components in ramekins for better preservation. We also enjoyed a spicy dip that was excellent.

Overall, it was a great snack in a much better ambiance.
Best,
