The service was wonderful…friendly, smiles and rather attentive. It’s still looked like Skal inside…it had a rather tacky sign out front (see the picture) and it just didn’t feel up scale or up to the price point they were charging…paper napkins, limited bar option, paper menu.
The food…it was just kinda blah…we all tried something different…chicken parm, lasagna and rigatoni ala vodka… with the meatball app…All were well portioned and looked delicious. The meatballs were decent but like warm at best. The lasagna had some crunchy noodles, the rigatoni was surprisingly spicy, the chicken was bit blah and soggy. Overall we were rather underwhelmed, especially with the price point…it just wasn’t the experience we hoped for. Maybe we’ll give it another shot down the road.

Such a great addition to Mt. Horeb! The food is delicious and the ambiance is cozy. The wedge salad, meatballs, pasta, everything is amazing!

Our server was Izzie, and she was wonderful! She was attentive, super friendly, and checked in with us just the right amount of times.
The martinis were perfectly made. The wine list is smaller than some places as others have noted, but they have an excellent selection. It’s obvious the wine list was put together by someone who *knows* wine. I think it also makes it easier to make a selection. The rosé was on point.
We had meatballs and the Caesar salad to start. The meatballs were fabulous with the best sauce, and the salad was fresh with great dressing.
Our meals were the lasagna and seasonal risotto. I am super picky about lasagna-this was fantastic. The cheeses in it are definitely not the waxy crap many places use. The risotto was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were spot on.
The food came out fast, portions were good, and we loved the salted butter with the bread.
We will definitely be back!

This is our second time here, the first time was shortly after opening, and we had a great experience! The drinks and service were good and as to be expected. We got 2 apps (bread and olives)- I think we would’ve gotten bread at our table even if we didn’t order it as an app, but it was still good. Our meals were fantastic- I had the spicy penne Al vodka and yes it was spicy, like the name says, and it was delicious! My husband got the risotto and said it was very good as well! We are both picky on how food is seasoned and prepared/flavored, and we were both impressed! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Bar Manzo last Saturday night. Start to finish, the experience was top shelf! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu options, attentive, and made sure we were 100% satisfied with our visit. I had the salmon, and it was fresh and prepared just how I like it! My wife had a filet mignon and three days later she’s still talking about how good it was!! Our cocktails were delicious, and the visit from the bartender asking us how are drinks were, and going over the ingredients with my wife I also thought was a personal touch offered by this establishment. After dinner, and finding out we were recently married, the chef came out to congratulate us personally and ask how our meal was. We were just wowed by everyone there, and their concern for customer satisfaction. We will be back again and again, and are looking forward to our next visit!!!

Everything was amazing here! We took our well mannered 4 and 5 year old here and we all were very impressed. From the service to the food and the atmosphere – everything was PERFECT! We were at the caves and came here and if we are in town we will go back. We sat in the bar area and the bartender and the manager (I think he was the manager) in the red shirt were all soo nice and tentative. If you are looking for a very nice place to go, I would highly recommend this place.

I thought the service was wonderful from the waitress and the bartender. The drinks were delicious. I tried the wedge salad, unfortunately I took about 5 bites and was finished. It was basically lettuce and blue cheese, not really worth $15.00. The tomato soup was excellent (had goat cheese) and the bread was also delicious. My friend had the chicken parm and she said it was just ok.. could have been better. Maybe give it a shot later down the road.

Wow! So impressed! Was there with a group of 5 other women. The food was spectacular! We all loved our meals. The service was like nothing I’ve ever experienced, especially Johnny, he went above and beyond. We will definitely be back.

We were supposed to have dinner for 3 of us who have December birthdays tonight, December 21st. Made reservations on line through Google & was confirmed for 6 pm for 5/6 people. Show up only to find out that they were closed. No call or anything like that. So very disappointing & frustrating. We were looking forward to dining here because we have heard good things about the food. I am not sure I will patronize this business based on my experience tonight. Again, super disappointed! I do understand that things happen & this isn’t the end of the world.
