We ordered first thing burgers to go.I ordered 3, they came with fries. Was told I needed to pay over the phone because they start your order as soon as paid. No problem, my son was off to grab my order. He was in shock when he discovered we had paid $40.50 for 3 burgers and fries. The burgers were great except they needed salt and pepper, or some sort of seasoning. I was happy, but everyone else said it was overpriced.

The best chicken strips and chicken fried steak we have ever had. We were late getting to the restaurant and they were closed. The owners graciously invited us to come in and eat even though they had been closed more than half an hour. Wonderful service, food, value nd atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Great experience all around! Greeted as soon as we walked in the door, apps and salad were right out, and even though we weren’t asked how we wanted our two different steaks, they came out absolutely perfect! (Which is a feat for my hubby, even when he tells people exactly how he wants it even Roadhouse messes it up!) We also had plenty of leftovers! So, 10/10! Can’t wait to come back!

We went to Bar M for the first time today for lunch. It was pretty good. The service was great, the place was clean and nice looking. I got the lunch chicken tenders with salad and mashed potatoes. My husband got the bar m burger, which I stole a bite of and it was pretty delicious! We also got apple fried pie for dessert, which was also yummy. Everything was great. The only thing that went wrong was it said the sides were 1.99$ each. I added a side salad to my order since it only came with one side and got charged $3.99 for it. No biggie. One side turned out to be actually plenty to fill me up so next time I definitely won’t add the extra side lol.

Went for the first time last night. Waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. Husband got the Chicken Fried Steak with Fried Okra and Mashed Potatoes. I got the Club Sandwich with Fries. The CFS was tender but dense. Was good. The Okra and Potatoes were okay. The Club had good meat but was a hot sandwich. The Mayo was hot, lettuce was wilted hot. The bacon was chewy. The bread was soggy and greasy. I’ve never had a hot, soggy Club sandwich before and don’t think I would want one ever again. I prefer crispy lettuce, cold Mayo, crispy bacon and crunchy, toasted bread. I got excited when I saw Shoestring Fries (my favorite), but they were cold and grease -logged. And extremely salty. My husband uses a lot of salt and he said they were too salty. Our Server was sweet, but never checked on us. We waited over 10 minutes to get our ticket. Never got it. We walked to the register and the girl there told us to wait for our server. We waited almost 10 minutes for her. She tried to seat us, but we told her we wanted to pay. We mentioned the $2 off if mention FB Post. She said She can’t do that. We’d have to wait for someone in the back to come out and do that and that they were busy. We said don’t worry about it, paid and left. Probably won’t be back.

Waited for 10 minutes for them to decide where to put us..party of 5.. only a party of 2 and a party of 7 in the whole restaurant.
Fried Pickles app was swimming in grease. Catfish was cooked appropriately but had zero flavor. The “Chicken Bacon “wrap was nothing more than a few pieces of chicken and a few little bits of bacon in some kind of goo/cheese sauce. Pork chops looked and smelled great, no flavor and shoe leather. No baked potatoes? Now on to the “Steak” ordered medium..came out medium well at best, sent it back as they charge more than a Roadhouse price, waitress comes back asking if I want it medium rare or rare, no..please cook the meat medium.. manager comes out and says it’s medium (absolutely no pink whatsoever).. I wasn’t in the mood to argue so I’ll just pay for the sides.. charged over $10 for the fries and beans, an extra 1.5 for some gelatinous “gravy” and $2.5 extra for the cold mushroom topping for the “steak”! I would eat at Huddle House and get better food than here.. absolute garbage. Good luck staying open if that’s how you treat your customers.

I ordered the catfish dinner. It was average for this area. The service was fast and friendly. The owner happened to be my waitress too. I talked with her for a little while after my meal. She is really nice

This steakhouse in the little town of New Boston has been a hot topic on Facebook. Many people have loved it and many have not. It is a fairly new establishment and with any new locations they have growing pains. We finally decided to try it out as I am a sort of steak snob . And I had a hankering for a good steak as many places disappoint. When we got.thwre we were sat quickly. The downside of the bat is I’m a pretty big guy and they only have booths and no tables so if you are big it’s not the most comfortable. But again that is an individual gripe. The waitress immediately was at our table and got our drinks requests and came back with them quickly as well. There were four of us in the party. Our party consisted of my wife, my mom and my nephew. My wife has the fried catfish plate. My mom has the cheeseburger and fries. My nephew had a the kids chicken strip and fries. And of course, I had the 16 oz Ribeye and Loaded backed potato. Everyone raves about rh food and my nephew actually ate the gravy that came with his strip. And that’s a rarity. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. And doe the most part it was tender, until it got to the issue and it got a little tough. However it has a pretty good taste but could have used a little more seasoning like garlic powder. But again that is an individual gripe. Our waitress was Kayla (of memory serves) and she was excellent. We could not have asked for a better server. In the end our meal came to $115 after 20% tip (well deserved), so it can get a bit costly but then again my Ribeye was $35 alone. Not to mention my loaded baked potato was a couple dollars more. Overall it was a great experience and the wife and I will be back for sure. If you are in the New Boston area, head downtown a ways and you’ll come to this little restaurant and it will be worth the drive.

Great friendly service by Eliza and the manager, Wayne. Good fried catfish with all the trimmings we could eat. This place knows to cut out the dark fat vein in the fish and discard it before cooking the fish so you don’t bite into that awful stuff. Believe me, not all know to do that, and I end up cutting it out of my cooked portion at several places. We will be going back.
