In town to relax and decided to dine here during my stay. Please forgive me but I think Robby was his name; did a phenomenal job at serving me, he was personable/attentive/ and very friendly. For starters, I had the spinach and artichoke dip paired with the new “Pina Rita” cocktail. For my entree, I ordered the Parm crusted chicken served on a bed of smothered like potatoes and sided grilled zucchini with a side Caesar salad. Also, i ordered a strawberry lemonade sangria. I did not enjoy my dip it seemed warmed from the microwave and thrown in the fire to create a bubbly toasted look (i did express this to my server) Chicken perfectedly cooked/absolutely craved the potatoes (very flavorful) i enjoyed my salad and my drinks were tasteful however, way too much ice! Overall, I had a great experience…I do recommend!!

Convenient location inside the Holiday Inn O’hare. After my flight canceled I booked a room at this Holiday Inn because of the restaurant is on site. No wait time, sat at the bar and the atmosphere was quiet and there are plenty of TV’s to watch while eating and having an adult beverage. I had the Bavarian pretzel bites, they were soft, salty and the beer cheese was fantastic.

I was staying at hotel and picked up the food at hostess station and had the hot honey chicken sandwich with fries and the Monterey chicken dinner. I’m not crazy about mushrooms but left those in the tin. I ate in my room on 8th floor. The sandwich was tasty and both dishes contained plenty of chicken, ample portion size. I ate them separately, obviously, for satiating my hunger and providing my muscles with the post workout protein and carbs they need and enjoying a stress free and peaceful Thanksgiving Wednesday alone, sadly without my dogs, now in Heaven, but with angels of the Lord, Jesus Christ, watching over me. Thank you Lord, for Bar Louie and Holiday Inn Express and the money to pay for it.

I eat here because it is attached to the Holiday Inn. Every time I eat there, I swear that I will never go again. This time, I ordered the loaded tots. These are the most expensive frozen tater tots that you will ever buy. The loaded part: three thin slices of jalapeno, a few crumbles of bacon, and a smear of queso on the bottom of the dish. Previously, I had the pretzels, which were the same quality as the cheapest frozen pretzels for sale at the grocery store, only marked up 500%. I’ve tried multiple other menu items, and they are all, at best, mediocre, but more often, a blatant ripoff. Imagine the worst fast casual meal you’ve had in the past 5 years, think about how it could have been even worse, and bingo! you have Bar Louie quality. Combine that abysmal quality with high prices and you have the Bar Louie experience. I would be ashamed to serve this food to a guest, much less charge them for it. Before stopping at Bar Louie, I had been eating airplane food for 24 hours. Maybe expecting Bar Louie to meet that standard was unreasonable.

Overall a good place. Wife ordered tots instead of fries but ended up getting served fries. We didn’t say anything because we were tired and hungry due to traveling. My burger was good and messy. We ate on a Tuesday night and the burgers were half off so that’s a real good deal.

Had a party for our company at bar Louie for lunch . And the bartender /server I think his name was Efrain was awesome. Very polite and attentive. It was about 20 people and he got everything we ordered correct and fast . Great service from him the whole time we were there.

The music and TV noise was quite loud so conversation was hard. Food was pretty good but the drinks were watered down and overpriced for the lack off alcohol in them. Our server was excellent and very attentive given the late hour we were there. Sadly the watered down drinks have us thinking of passing this up on our next in town stay.

Bar Louie O’Hare is inside the Holiday Inn at Cumberland. Simple bar menu with specialty bar drinks and great service. We were promptly seated in a cozy booth. Ordered the wings and a flatbread. Food came out fairly quickly from kitchen, however with a busy crowd may take longer if in a large group. The asparagus and cheese flatbread was tasty and had a prrfect crunchy crust. Wings were split with Chipotle BBQ and Thai Sweet & Spicy. Since it’s in the Holiday Inn, it is kid friendly and portions warrant the price. Bar Louie offers a Free parking lot for the combined venue albeit very small.

The bar is by far the best feature of this hotel. However, it’s still lacking.
Server told I had 10 minutes to order happy hour and then didn’t check back for 13 minutes. She did allow me to order still. All night the service was slow.
Calamari was 100% bar food. Very well done. But still good enough for the price. The sauce was delicious.
Loaded tots were ok. A bit greasy. But again, bar food. The sauce was limited, 4 slices of jalapenos, and a bit of bacon crumbs on top.
One server tried to take my whiskey when it was half full which caught me off guard.
Maybe the biggest problem here was my expectation. Bottom line. It’s a bar.

Hit or miss with the food. had a good hamburger on Tuesday., But the rest was mostly below average I would say I think it’s cause there’s not many customers. Tuesday was great because it half off but the other day it was about $17 for a hamburger and not worth it.
