Only two words are needed for this review – Absolutely Terrible!! Had the “pulled brisket plate” which surprisingly came with no sides. Just a plate of about half a pound of shredded fat and small amount of meat soaking in greese. It tasted nothing like barbecue and i prefer my fat to be well done. Over $15.00 for $2.00 worth of food. I have never did a review before but really felt it was necessary in this case because there is no way they are getting 5 star reviews from the general public. I will say the people that run it seem very nice and friendly although I could of done without the firearm attached to the hip of one guy. Kudos for their friendliness but no amount of kindness can fix this meal. After leaving I went home and cooked a meal for myself. If you are considering giving this establishment a shot…..DONT DO IT!!

Their pulled pork is the best pulled pork I have ever had. The owner is very friendly and after a quick talk it shows you how much pride he takes in his meats. Their barbecue sauces are delicious as well, my personal favorite was the huckleberry bbq sauce. Their meats are all local and the pasta they use for their mac&cheese is also from the local pasta place. I also enjoyed their Coleslaw. I will definitely be coming back.

Ok – so I was really hoping to write a great review regarding this little eatery. In all honesty, in my 55 years of life, this goes down as the worst meal I have ever experienced. For over $15.00 each, we ordered the “pulled brisket plate”. It comes with no sides, so we each added a side. The sides were bland and tasted like nothing – way better than the pulled brisket which was almost all fat. I’m not trying to be mean or disrespectful. Truly, it was that bad. Google had rating at a 4.5 – not sure how that is possible. I have done hundreds of reviews and never given less than 2 stars (on one occasion). Zero stars for this food. I would take a can of Alpo over this crap. The only place I have ever walked out of feeling like I was scammed.

Yo!! When I tell you that that pulled pork sandwich was off the chain!!! The flavors was astounding and you can tell they pay attention to detail when it comes to their food!! The atmosphere was amazing I felt very welcomed as soon as I stepped foot in their establishment. I highly recommend this bbq spot if you want some bbq that’ll blow your mind!! 10/10

Really small place it was $12 for a pulled pork sandwich. I got two of them. I thought I would get aside and a drink with it. Nope it’s just a little bit of meat on a bun. He said they were homemade buns, but they looked like the cheapest ones that you buy at Walmart. He told me they were homemade I wanted to try their homemade bun, but like I said, it was definitely not homemade or worth the $24 for just two sandwiches definitely not worth it. I threw away the bottom part of my bread because it was so soggy when I got home. Maybe they will figure it out maybe they will come up with a meal That would be way better, but if you’re going to order there, I recommend eating there so your bread doesn’t get soggy but next time I will know for sure

I really wanted to like Bar Double N Smokehouse, but this was a terrible experience from start to finish. The food was honestly gross OVERLY greasy, poorly seasoned, and just plain unappetizing. Nothing tasted fresh or cared for, and it was absolutely not worth the price.

What really crossed the line though, was the lack of basic cleanliness and professionalism. During my visit, there were dogs in the kitchen area with the staff, and there was also a kitten inside the restaurant. That is completely unacceptable for a place serving food. It made me extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about sanitation and food safety.

Between the bad food and the animals in food prep and dining areas, I won’t be returning. I definitely cannot recommend this place to anyone.

This is the best brisket in town. I sat down and took a bite into a good tender meat sandwich while listening to country music and laughter in the back. Friendly and professional. Military and first responder discounts available. Will be eating here regularly

Most of the reviews are very positive. I may have hit it on an off day. My Brisket was mostly stringy like pulled pork and the mac and cheese was very clumped. Not very good. Not going back.

Tried for the first time today as we were at the UPS store. My husband ordered the Smoked Bologna sandwich special with collard greens and I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac and Cheese. His sandwich was cold and not edible so we requested just another pulled pork sandwich to go, even though it wasn’t much better. We paid $4 for my side of Mac and cheese and it was the worst Mac and cheese I have ever had, it wasn’t hot either and the cheese was almost hard like it was just sitting out. We wasted $36.00 and then went to Wendy’s right after to get something quick before heading home….pretty sad! We will go back to our always trusty bbq place in GF! I hope it was just a terrible day for them but since not one thing was good then that tells me it wasn’t just an off day. We did take the left overs so we could feed the meat to our dog.
