The food is a 4/5 and the atmosphere is a 5/5 for a small space.
The bread appetizer comes with lots of slices and a hearty portion of butter to choose from. Being 100% honest my wife and I were not massive fans of any of the butters. Having a plain whipped butter would have been nice. The tomato butter was too overpowering and the tomato flavor was too pronounced, the truffle butter leaned a little too heavy on the truffle front leading to an awkward flavor balance, and the lemon butter was my personal favorite but it could possibly be better with a stronger lemon flavor.
The Brutus salad was a very large portion for a very fair price. The cheese chunks were a little too large and would be better if smaller or more chopper up. My wife wanted to replace the mustard vinaigrette with the apple vinaigrette and I actually think it paired better with the apples (we tried a side of the mustard vinaigrette).
The steak and fries were a solid portion for the price. I ordered the steak medium rare but the steak came out closer to well done or medium-welldone. Hopefully it was just a slight error. I think the fries were a very unique shape (very square and large) but we’re a little over salted.
All in all I would consider going back. My wife and I both don’t drink so we only care for food. I want to give extensive feedback in hopes it helps the bar.

We came here with a group of 8 and made a reservation. It was a lovely spot for dinner! The colors, decor, and ambiance were tasteful and inviting. Our waiter was timely and courteous.The pasta especially was delicious, as were the appetizers and desserts. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a slightly nicer sit down spot.

As a frequenter of Freely, I was ecstatic to see this new venture. The vibe is just right and the food is AMAZING. While the menu is still being added to, so a bit limited, everything was delicious. From the noble bread with assorted butter choices, to the beautiful drinks, this is going to be another big win for the owners. We had Nonna’s Lasagna and ravioli. Both dishes we perfectly flavored, the baked edges of the lasagna may be my favorite. Don’t forget to try the specialty crafted cocktails too! Very excited for another local place to visit in the neighborhood and will be back for sure.

Second visit, and again, extremely satisfied. This time for Sunday brunch. Arrived a bit early as they were finishing setting up the outdoor seating. We always enjoy outdoors as first choice, but not mid-July in Phoenix, so indoor it was and as you can see in the pictures, it has been beautifully put together. Service was attentive, professional, comfortable and fun. With only one other group there, it was quiet and peaceful. The Prosciutto Eggs Benedict was amazing. I’m not a mimosa kind of guy, and 10am on a Sunday morning isn’t my timing for alcohol, but looking forward to a Tuesday/Wednesday wine and pasta special at the bar next time. Now as much as I selfishly like that, this place needs to get busy! The food, the atmosphere, the service ……let’s get the word out!

Love Bar Capri have been here a few times. The food is absolutely amazing and cocktails fantastic.
So unfortunately the service needs help. Was there for happy hour 2 other tables were occupied. Our first waitress was great got us thru the main meal.
Then we sat there no one came by. Went to the manager at the hostess stand who by the way stood there the whole time doing nothing to ask for menu to order another drink. Got a new waitress who says our last waitress was not feeling well and went home. Now we are worried she touched all our food. We order 2 more drinks. And then again sat there waiting to order dessert and no one looked at us. Again the manager standing at the hostess stand doing nothing. Waved down our waitress to order dessert. We love this place but the service needs so much help and it obviously comes from the manager who didn’t check in table which was 3 tables and stood there doing nothing . Please get your service (manager)together. Your food is amazing and will go back and hopefully everyone that reads this will go!!! This is for the owners to understand their management.

Ate here with my family and it was super delicious. The interior is neat, unique, and very cozy. It’s a small place. Drinks were fun, but most of their beers they say are on draft actually aren’t for some reason. Food was tasty and savory! Ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, the lamb flatbread, and ricotta cake for dessert. I honestly did not expect the flatbread to be as delicious as it was! Probably the best I’ve had in a while. Try the ricotta cake, it sounds weird but it’s soooo worth it!
All in all, I would def come back here! Nice place if you’re ever in the neighborhood but it is a little pricey.

Great new non-chain spot! Just opened but you wouldn’t know it. Amazing service, craft cocktails and great food. Big portions, really tasty. Can’t wait to go back. Perfect for date night, couples night out etc. Four thumbs up.

I would give 6 stars if I could. Adorable menu. Excellent drink list. Atmosphere is amazing. They do Gluten Free dishes very well and just are sweet and fun to talk to.

Our group of four were all extremely happy with our experience in this lovely, little restaurant. It is beautifully decorated inside with moss green walls, gorgeous artwork and all sorts of artistic touches that make it upscale Italian.
Two of us had lasagna which our waiter recommended, and rightly so. Delicious. One had gnocchi and was very happy, another flank steak which came rare as requested, and enjoyed the entire meal. We had a bottle of Chianti from Sienna, Italy, which complimented our Italian food.
Their appetizers were intriguing: bone marrow, arancini, fried goat cheese-all sorts of things we will come back for another time.
Service was attentive and friendly, timing was well done. Meals are served in deceptively small plates – portions are plentiful.
There is lots of outdoor seating which was inviting.
Our waiter said they have been open 7 months and we’re so glad to have had Bar Capris recommended to us.
