Superb dishes!
I had fried mussels with bread, fried cod and a cremeux as the dessert. Only the cod missed the mark a little but I blame it on it being a white fish 🙂
Very good quality to price ratio. I really enjoyed the kit royal drink and the nice atmosphere. The service was speedy.

We had the best evening at Bar Bistro. The waiter/bartender/host was so charming and welcoming. It was a very cold, rainy night and we walked into the most warm (temperature and hospitality) environment. The food and wine were outstanding as well. We highly recommend!!

This French bistro is a very nice spot with a cozy atmosphere. The decorations and walls have a strong French vibe that makes the place feel warm and welcoming. We had a bottle of wine. We both ordered a starter, main and dessert. The menu is decent, offering a variety of dishes, and what’s great is that every main course comes with fries and a salad. Both the fries and salad are tasty, adding a lot to the meal.
The service was fine, though it could have been a little better in terms of attentiveness. Even with that, it’s a great choice for a date night or a celebration dinner. Overall, I definitely recommend visiting this bistro for a nice dining experience.

Nice classy atmosphere. Sophisticated but not over done! The food is great. Nice and surprising combination of ingredients, beautifully plated dishes. The service was very good and friendly. High end Bistro but the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

I really had to go read all the reviews to get why this place got only 4.5 stars.
I recently moved in the neighborhood and this is one of the first places I tried. Went in with no expectations, but the nice atmosphere and the first greetings already hinted that it’s a nice place. The staff is very friendly and the menu is great. Such a nice idea to focus on a region of France for a tasting menu composition!
We ordered a la carte though because we didn’t have much time. I had the fried artichoke and my friends had the sea bass and the duck. All dishes were super nice. A real celebration! There is attention to plating, textures and taste.
To me, it’s a real gem in Rotterdam! We’ll be back for sure.

Very beautiful atmospheric bistro in Rotterdam! We had very tasty starters: ratatouille and duck with caramelised sauce and beetroots! Unfortunately our main dishes were really delayed and served cold! The picanha steak and the beef stew were very tasty but unfortunately not warm enough. I have complained to the staff and they just brought me back the same steak a little warmer than before accompanied with the same cold stew. The specialty fish dish was not really what we expected in terms of cooking and flavour. A bit undercooked for our taste. In general a nice bistro.

Yesterday I ‘discovered’ LOEVetDIE in my town Rotterdam! Everything matched. Kitchen and service, good timing and attention, nice menu and good wines.

We made a reservation for dinner at the restaurant. Immediately, I got an email confirming our booking and that everything was good to go. Upon arrival, the restaurant was empty and we were told that they were closing early and did not see our booking. We did not receive a warning, email, or a call informing us of this, and we were stranded outside with no place to go (it was already late to book something else). Professionalism is missing.

The service was very kind and friendly, however the food was not very tasty, the beef was plain and not tender. In addition, we arrived at 20:00 and ate the main dish at 22:00. Very overpriced for the quality of food.
