Best bbq in Hammond, LA. There are other bbq places in the area that claim to be voted the best bbq in Hammond but I have to disagree with whomever they bought the vote from. The portion size is great for the money and the flavor is where it’s supposed to be. You’re not buying a slab of fat when ordering the brisket and the pulled pork is top notch. The lunch special is very filling for an excellent price. Unlike the lunch deals at the other bbq places where the prices are just under the dinner prices and you leave a little hungry. Its not Texas, Memphis or St Louis but it’s one of the best in our area.

10-3-2022 Stopped in for that famous Brisket Burger… boy, what a treat! All that brisket, bacon, cheese, and burger really satisfies! Weather was great so I sat outside and ate way too much. If you’re feeling like you deserve a real burger with real flavor… you can’t go wrong with BBQ Station.
Previously… Passing the original location and seeing it was closed… we decided to give the newer location a try. Worried that it might not be as good, we were pleasantly surprised that it’s just what we remember. Great food and friendly service. We got the brisket burgers and were pleased to see that local Louisiana craft beer selections were available. Just as good as the original!

Best green beans I’ve ever had. They are so good I don’t even care what the Mac and Cheese tastes like yet. I am content. With beans.
Afterthoughts. The Mac N Cheese with pulled pork was also good.

People are friendly and the food is good. There was plenty of seating. It is a self serve place to eat. The biggest thing that I have against it is the air conditioner did not work. When I entered the building I seen employees fanning themselves with menus. So it was not just me that thought it was hot in the lobby. We had the brisket quesadilla, it came with a packet of sour cream and a souffle of sauce that paira really well with it. My companion had unsweetened tea and I had Dr. Pepper. Both of them tasted a little off for some reason. And the straws for the size cups they give you are too short. They barely poke out of the lid.

Good stuff: had a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. Sandwich had a generous portion of meat, nice toasted bun. Baked beans were very good: well seasoned with good meaty sauce. Price was extremely reasonable, especially as compared to the big D chain.

Everything was amazing. I’m a potato salad snob and this potato salad was sent straight from heaven. The Memphis wrap was Devine. Go here for great BBQ.

Full disclosure, I am a total carnivore ( think Grizzly bear ) so this is absolutely my preferred food type. What you will get here is a plate piled high with food at a good price. The meat was cooked perfectly. Not dry, not raw. PERFECT! Taylor, the general manager and Darian are putting out the good vibes and great food! Thank you

It was my birthday, we were traveling and I didn’t want fast food. Saw the sign on the highway and gave it a try. I had the brisket stuffed baked potato and it was delicious! My husband had a pulled pork sandwich and he enjoyed it. I’m glad we stopped there.

Seems to be a small chain perhaps as we drove past one location and managed to stop at the next. Everything came out quick and hot and hit the spot to cure the bbq craving we were having. I liked the seasoning on the fries. Little things like that differentiate the side at diff spots. Potato salad is mustard heavy base, tasted great. Brisket held it’s form until gently touched with a fork, nice cook. Pulled pork was smokey. Ribs were tender and everything is sauce on the side, a true mark of someone not trying to hide behind it.
