Just took the wife to lunch and everything was really good. The cashier made some recommendations which turned out to be great. The banana pudding was especially good. My wife had the pulled pork & I had brisket. Brisket at some places can be hit or miss but it was really good here & I’d order it again. My wife also enjoyed the pork. I’m more a fan of the mustard version of potato salad but ate every bit of their version. Definitely coming back here.

Ribs were falling off the bone tender so that was good. Beans and slaw were good. Friend pickles were good too but a little burnt. Brisket was a little too tough, not the best. The biggest disappointment came from the cornbread which was real dry and was more like a pancake not like bread or a muffin. I love my cornbread so sadly I didn’t enjoy it. Go with the toast

Place is clean, staff is friendly, portions are great and food is delicious! Best okra I’ve tried in Georgia. My favorite plate was barbecue on corn bread. I’m definitely going back to eat it again. Lunch time gets busy, so be ready to get in line.

We used to like this place a lot. However, the last time I came by for a takeout order I waited forever and finally found out they gave my order to another customer. They told me they were going to fill my order for free and not charge my card. They also included free desserts, which did not make up for my wasted time. The employees seemed very confused about my lost order and did not really seem to know how to do a refund. Then the charge came through on my card, so I was not compensated as promised. Food is ok but how customers are treated matters to us so we are going elsewhere for bbq now.
