BBQ Ribs are a 10/10. Beans and coleslaw are out of this world. Bill is a treat and I wish there were more words I had to describe how delicious this food is. It’s absolutely worth a drive out here. If you want good, authentic, solid BBQ, pay Bill a visit. Couldn’t recommend higher.

On a road trip to Bend, we very fortunately stumbled on Bar 7 H. It was a quiet Wednesday and we almost thought it was closed but glad we stopped. The ribs and chicken were delicious and fries very generous. The garlic mashed pots (part sweet potato) were fantastic. Sadly, Bill was out of Cowboy beans – but provides an excuse (if one was needed!) to go back. Stick around and listen to Bill’s great stories. A super find and highly recommended!

An unexpected, incredible surprise. Friendliest owner who offered up some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Fall off the bone ribs, homemade cowboy beans and coleslaw. Definitely will be back.

Bill is an expert at his craft and a thoughtful host. From an easy to miss trailer kitchen literally by the side of the road he creates and serves terrific BBQ.The ribs were tender and more meaty than many I’ve tried and the pulled pork looked amazing. Homemade sides were great and the french fries were voted better than McDonald’s by the kids in our group as was the “adventure factor” as we sat outside among ghost town ruins and a mostly abandoned fueling station. There’s are beautiful views to be had here at this fairly new start up and the Bar 7 H could be raised up to an AMAZING destination with a few eye catching upgrades to the outside seating area. Bill says he may move across Hwy 97 to the busier side of Biggs. Either way I will plan my next trip through Biggs to include stopping in at Bills. You should do the same.

I was on the long haul from kalispell to Portland and had to stop for dinner and was really fortunate to run out of gas here, my tri-tip sandwich with fries and cowboy beans hit the spot and helped me through the last bit. Next time I’m headed to MT I’ll have to stop by again, more than worth it
