At Baqueano, we only work with the best meat which stands out for its softness and juiciness. Coming straight from Argentina, all our meats are grass-fed Angus-breed that go through a 45-day wet-aging process. Baqueano is a family-run and family-owned restaurant that opts for an authentic, simple, and emotional gastronomy made with fresh, top-quality ingredients. Our menu is based on four classic Argentinian products: meat, dulce de leche, yerba mate, and Malbec wine. The dishes at Baqueano are nourished by all those traditional and unforgettable recipes from our Argentinian roots. And some others, are the result of our trips, but always adapting and incorporating them into an Argentinian style.

One of my favourite places to eat in Brighton. Adriana the owner was so lovely and attentive. The tasting menu is well worth the price with delicious food and wine. Steaks are incredible and the dulce de leche desserts are delicious. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience! We had the tasting menu and it was incredible. Each wine was explained in detail, each dish had a story and every mouthful was 10/10. Would absolutely come back here ima heartbeat. Thank you Carlos and team!

On the menu it says empanada.
The waitress said that we could get 4, so we had to choose the flavours.
But we should have ordered them by 1 or 2 max.
Too much.
She did not give the correct information.
The provoleta is delicious.
So is the steak.
I knew from a picture we would get 3 sauces, but they did not bring that after me asking.
Add the mushrooms and you won’t be needing lunch nor breakfast the next day; too delicous and enough to last a day!

Incredible food and wonderful service. The steak here is the best I’ve experienced, the wine is also superb. Without doubt my favourite restaurant in Brighton. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It won’t be long before my next visit. Thank you for an amazing meal.

Quite literally one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Certainly not one of the cheapest, but no questioning the value for money. The service from the staff is amazing, largely due to it being a family business. Visited for my birthday and took a sharing menu with wine tasting and every course was utterly sublime, each beating the last. The wine pairings were also beautiful and well described and explained by the staff. I cannot recommend enough coming to try this restaurant. I will 100% be back in the future!!

This was an absolutely spectacular experience beginning to end. I am amazed how anyone can get everything so so right and seemingly effortlessly. The food was sensational, starting with the Argentinian sausage and black pudding mix, the olives (oh my god those olives!) and the calamari. We then had the ribeye with grilled veg and wow- I will think about this meal for many years from now.
I have to give a special nod however, to the immaculate service. The ladies genuinely made us feel like valued regulars even though it was our first time dining there and even brought us dessert on the house! (Obviously incredible as well- seriously, how can they get everything so right?)

We are staying in the area and saw the restaurant online so decided to give it a go. Everything was perfect, from the welcoming staff, the portion sizes and quality of the food. It is the best meal we have had in Brighton, with my mum reporting the steak to be the best she has ever tasted. If you are in the area definitely stop for a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
