Easy, breezy, delectable bao buns! Favorites were the duck bao and cow bao. Duck was juicy, the rib-eye was tender and loved the marinade. Bolsa bao was also good, crispy pork skin was on point! Also enjoyed the lychee lemonade and Vietnamese ice coffee, both were delicious.

The first crunchy bite was so savory, I was immediately happy that we stopped and tried this place. Their crispy meat and rice dish is an absolute triumph, delivering an explosion of flavors that dance on your taste buds. Every bite is oh-so-satisfying. This place is fast casual. Walk in, order and then grab a seat to wait for your food. I recommend this place. Try it!

Really great little hole in the wall in Garden Grove off of Brookhurst, really close to the 22 Freeway for easy access. The parking lot is a little crazy and people drive up right next to the shop, so be careful when you step off the curb!

The food is really fantastic. Freshly made, very large, fluffy bao and huge portions on the fillings. We went two days in a row because we were so impressed the first day. The girl who helped us the first visit was amazingly friendly. The boy the next day not so much, he also got our order wrong, but you really can’t get anything bad here, so we weren’t that bothered, although they did forget the one item I was craving the most.

Our favorites: Duck Bao which is $4.50, but huge pieces of duck, so worth the money; Boss Hog Fries (choose between pork or beef, comes with sauces, cilantro, and onions), cauli fries (you should get 12 orders of these so no one fights or dreams about them); Fish Bao.

Definitely going to keep eating here!

If you’re a bao enthusiast like me, BAOS HOG in Garden Grove is your next must-visit destination. This place takes the bao experience to a whole new level. From succulent duck to flavorful ribeye, their range of baos is impressive.

The standout for me was the Cali Cow Wrappurito – a creative fusion of bao and burrito. It was a perfect mix of savory and sweet, tantalizing my taste buds. Although I missed out on the CinnaBao fries, they’re definitely on my list for the next visit.

BAOS HOG isn’t just about baos; it’s about exploring a variety of quick, casual, and delicious meals. Whether you’re craving an assortment of baos, a hearty rice plate, or their unique wrappuritos, this place has it all.

I’m not sure that you can beat this restaurant for the price. I got a Duck Bao and somehow it was only $3.50. For the price, it was great.

The service was so incredibly fast and the employees were all friendly. I’m genuinely not sure how they made it so cheap and yet so delicious. Plus I got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, which was amazing.

Definitely check this place out!

Baos Hog in Garden Grove was recommended to me by a friend. I don’t really even like baos necessarily, but honestly, this place has elevated their boa game to make me a believer! I tried 2 different styles of baos, the Hot Chick Bao and the Char Siu Bao, both were unbelievably delicious, and the buns are so light and fresh! The me u sounds so interesting, I am going back on the weekend to try other items.

Loved the Cali style burrito with the beef bulgogi! The size of the burrito was pretty big so I only ate half for lunch. The sauce was decent but not my favorite. Overall I loved all the different flavors in the burrito. Can’t wait to try the baos next!
