Food isnt spectacular but its good, they were really quick to bring it out. The only down side was the plates were like cardboard so it didnt hold up that well and I was given a tea cup that was not meant for hot tea, I literally could not hold it without napkins around it because of how hot it was.

I ordered takeaway from this place recently and it was good, but not spectacular. I had the hot and sour soup which is what you would expect from any place – decent flavour. I also ordered the Sesame Chicken because my app said it was a popular dish. It was good, the chicken was tender but could have had a bit more flavour in the sauce – it was also too sweet. I also had the Edamame with spicy garlic and asked for “medium spicy” – it had no spice at all. I know spiciness is relative but I expected some kick and it was not there. The Edamame was steamed to perfection and otherwise good. Based on these items, I would not order again. I was not unhappy with my meal, just not impressed given the good reviews I read before ordering.

I ordered dandan noodles extra spicy togo. The noodles taste bad, the sauce tastes like burnt canola oil, and there is absolutely no seasoning. I called hoping to chat with the owner but apparently he hasn’t been by in 6 months. Also the prices are 3-5 dollars more then what the menu online shows. I don’t think the owner actually cares about the quality or authenticity of his food its just another cash grab american chinese restaurant.
I do want to say the server was really nice and told me she’d pass along my message to the manager.

Decided to try this “fine chinese cuisine” restaurant for the first time today and to say I was disappointed would be an absolute understatement. We ordered two entrees, 2 drinks and an appetizer which came to $50. The drinks were bottled sodas which was fine BUT when I opened my Coca-Cola, it didn’t fizz and was totally flat. We asked to exchange the soda and the guy put the soda I had drank out of BACK IN THE REFRIGERATOR. We tried to tell him that I had opened the soda and drank from it- he told me to just get a new one. I then went and got the coke and threw it away so it wasn’t served to someone else. The food came out on paper plates with plastic forks which is fine unless you are a “fine chinese cuisine” restaurant. They watered all the sauces so they were crazy thin and had no taste. If you want a lack luster meal that is the quality of a drive thru, definitely check this place out. It’s mediocre at best. For the 10 or so pickup orders we saw while dining here, I’M SORRY AND GOOD LUCK.

My first meal there was a lunch special (cashew nut chicken) to go with egg drop soup. Portions were good, and it was nice they included an egg roll and an egg drop soup to go. Not all places send the soup with a to-go order… dine in only. I didn’t care for it very much, but the service was absolutely excellent. I had them again today (beef and broccoli lunch special), and it was a bit better. I tried their hot and sour soup and preferred it to their egg drop. I think my timing was off the first time, as it was around 2ish… end of lunch. My 1pm lunch was better. I will temper this review by saying that I am notoriously picky when it comes to Chinese food, as I lived in Asia for several years. This scratches the itch. I can’t stress how super nice and polite the employees are, and I will keep coming back and exploring their menu. I’m sure they have something they make that is super amazing, but I’m still new to them. If you want great service and a fast lunch at a good price, I would recommend Baobae.

Really recommend this place! For around $20 each you can get a dinner combo which is a main dish , an egg roll, a crab puff, and a side of soup. We got the walnut shrimp and Mongolian stir fry. The portions are huge and we took home over half of it. Not pictured is the large portion of rice they give too.
We also got an order of soup dumplings but I would pass on those.
Employees are friendly and attentive even though it’s more of a self service set up. The lanterns create a really cozy mood.

Waitress was amazing the 90 I spent on food was not worth it. The house noodle soup was basically water and the dumplings were tasteless and old. The curry had so much thick bell pepper there basically not meat. I would not reccommed or return based on this vist.

Came in to eat and food smells awesome. so we ended up getting orange chicken and pepper steak and the food was so tender and full of flavor this had to be the best Chinese food we have eaten. Everything was fresh oh so good..
