Heard the hype, read the reviews. Sorry $23 for a Catsu sandwich, tots and a soda I’d hope for something better. My “Chicken” was paper thin and basically all fried breading. The “fried” egg wasn’t cooked on one side and not long enough on the other side. I don’t mind yolk but when the egg “whites” are clear and running out my sandwich…. made me want to puke. Never again, I had high hopes. The lady behind the counter was very friendly, but the food…. naw I’ll pass.

Looking at the menu online kinda had me hooked from the second I saw it. This place is worth the money, especially with the portions. I had the south and the birria tots. When I say I enjoyed every bite, I am not exaggerating. Word of caution, if you don’t like spice, you might need to let them know before they make your birria tots. Service was good, people are friendly, and the food came out relatively quick. Next time you are in Everett, please give this place a shot. Especially if you are hungry.

I normally do not like crinkle cut fries, but the chimichurri made it theee best!!!
The inside is very chilly/cold

Small spot but they have a few tables inside and outside. Food was cooked to order – super hot fries. Didn’t care for their chimichuri sauce, too much garlic for me. Smash burger had a really good flavor. Definitely would come back to try other options!

The food is superb! Unique flavors all come together to create drool worthy burgers and sandwiches. They catered my dad’s 70th birthday of ~80 people this past weekend and everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the smash burger and mini corndogs were.
The owner, Daniel, went above and beyond to create a menu that fit our needs, as well as budget.
Highly recommend for day to day eats, as well as for catering!

My first time here and I was absolutely captivated. The food was delicious and the service was right on the spot. They make the best sandwiches I ever had in the great Seattle area. The menu looks really international, as there are items from Vietnam, Cuba, Korea, Hawaii and other countries/regions. A must try place for food adventurers.

Watch out, the Bao boys are going to blast your tastebuds. You can tell these dudes put love into the food. Burgers, tots and Korean chicken sandwich were all delicious, fresh ingredients, yummy spicy toppings. Nice to see they have some affordable burgers on the menu. No one seems to do that. Will be stopping here every time I visit Everett!

Bao Boss burgers and their other sandwiches are probably the BEST sandwiches that I’ve ever had. I wish that I had taken some pictures. OMG, the flavor of the Blue Cheese Bacon, the Cubano, and the Chicken Little sandwich’s were all LOADED exciting mouth watering flavors like I’ve never experienced before, and the quality is excellent. The fries are delightful, delivered hot and crispy, with either with chimmychurry sauce or without, but they come in a leakproof paper box which is intended to keep them hot, but it needs to be vented or the heat of the fries steams themselves and the go soft rather quickly. I live thirty miles away from Bao Boss, so I can’t wait until I’m in the area again. I want to try everything on their menu. They have some cosmetic issues outside that need to be addressed and that could turn off a lot of people, but be bold and try them out, you will not be sorry.

Absolutely one of my new favorite sandwich places. It is not very often that I feel the food was worth the price in todays food world. However Bao Boss stands up there and I would gladly pay for the sandwiches again and again.
The location is in Everett which can be a drive for some but it is well worth it and I am personally planning another trip just to pass through and get some more food.
The Cubano was packed full of meat and the bread was just perfect. Everything came out fairly quickly and we had a minimal wait time. My one drawback was the tots. They were fresh but got soggy fast. I believe using something other than the cardboard would make them tremendously better.
The restaurant it self is a bit of a small interior but I know it is probably overflowing during the summer with the outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly and answered all the questions about what different kind of flavor profiles each item had. And the door never stopped with online orders coming in every few minutes.
I cannot say this enough 10 out of 10. 5 stars. Y’all rock.
