Let me just say this…..This is the best restaurant I went to that serves beef noodle soup❤️ The only one I knew growing up was the one in the cup from the supermarket ‍♀️

Today was my first time here at this restaurant and it was amazing. I literally took my time eating this because I didn’t want it to finish so soon lols.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Bring your friends, aunty, uncle, dad and everyone here. You will not be disappointed❤️

-I made a pick up reservation just to save time if it was crowded which was way easier, but you can also walk in.

Its hard to find a good food place in this area, let alone good sezchuan flavor, for a good price. We went on a weekend afternoon and there was no line, plenty of seating and a nice menu selection. The staff was friendly and this is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to when in the area. For two people with 2qty of the bao bun appetizer, 2 ramens, and drinks it was ~$30 cant beat that!

We passed by on a chilly day looking for a hot soup and the beef broth delivered that filling taste. The order was handled reasonably fast. The vegetables and ramen were decently filling. The noodles were all on the bottom in a plate format.
There was a 20% surcharge added that when I asked the staff couldn’t tell me what it was either.

Winter woes but warm noodle bowls did the trick! Little wait and line built up but can see why the lil crowd. Worth the wait! Enjoyed my bowl and tea with great company or you can dine alone. Bon appetite! Jal meog-eo!

Not recommended. I ordered a non-spicy beef noodle soup, but it still arrived with red oil and a hint of spice. Good thing I’m not allergic to chili—otherwise lunch might’ve come with a trip to the ER.

The noodles were very thin and soft, with no chew at all. Honestly, even basic ramen has more bounce. The broth looked dark and full of promise, but the flavor never showed up. The beef slices looked thick, but tasted like…nothing. Let’s just say it was beef without a soul. The cabbage was no help either—completely bland, floating there with a quiet sense of despair.

At $12, the portion was also on the small side. For many people, one bowl of noodle soup probably wouldn’t be enough to feel satisfied.

Sure, $12 for beef noodle soup near Times Square sounds like a deal. But to me, a low price doesn’t excuse poor quality. The food did come out quickly, and being self-service means no tipping worries. Also worth mentioning: many of the “good reviews” are false—they hand out free popcorn chicken if you leave a positive review.

Bao Bao Café is such a gem! The noodles are cooked perfectly — springy, flavorful, and comforting. The beef is absolutely fantastic — tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. Every bite feels fresh and satisfying.

The portions are generous, the flavors authentic, and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to whenever I’m craving noodles and hearty dishes. Highly recommend!

Loved the atmosphere and the central location. The food was just okay – the bam bam noodles were bland, the popcorn chicken (free, if you review) was okay. I really liked the spring rolls – they were truly the hit for me. Place your order and pay at the counter and then get served at the table.

Beautiful restaurant right off the main street near Times Square, with a huge space. The Ambience is really clean, neat and cutely decorated.

I’m writing this review in the restaurant, as I was asked to put my review in before I left, as I recieved a FREE Popcorn Chicken.

Here is my opinion on the dishes I tried today, rated from Top choices to lowest

1)The Spring Rolls are amazing, beautifully executed, with a delicious wrapper, evey unique

2)The Bao (2pcs) The Pork belly in here is soft and tender, in soft and pillowy baos, wish there was more sauce inside

3)The Fried Squid was well cooked, tender and crispy at the same time. Some pieces were stuck together, so it was clumsy and soggy, and quite greasy. Yet still delicious

4)The Popcorn chicken was nothing special, wish it had some fried basil like the usual Taiwanese restaurants

5)The Bam Bam Noodles with Pork, and I added Mushrooms, didn’t have much flavor, the sesame oil is over powering, and there was not enough salt.

Also they have a sign that says they accept Ca$hApp, but then it didn’t work, so I had to change my method of payment.

Maybe asking for a review backfired, as the waitress persisted for a review, even coming to the table with food in her mouth, mastercating as she asked to leave a review once again.

Came accross the place randomly on the way to time square. Ordered the little-hot pot, bao bao noodle, and the pop corn chicken rice. Portion is large. Price is steal. Great FOOD & VALUE. This is a hidden spot. Plenty of seating. All the food taste amazing. We will be back…..
