Those restaurants moves up to its name. The food was very nice but could use a little more flavor. We ordered some noodles and I had to add a lot of soy sauce and chili sauce to it to bring it to a different complex flavor profile. The buns were nice and soft. You could see them being made in front of you and that is quite an entertaining

Best Bao I’ve had in years. The Suan La Fen soup and the Ji Tang MI Fen soups were delicious. Looking forward to trying new items next time. We were both very happy eating here, no complaints!

Neat place, small and cute. Counter service but staff are friendly. My wife and I each liked the dumplings, both steamed and fried. The bao was okay but dry and not a lot of filling :/. We tried the sweet bean, chicken curry, pork (sweet bean was my preference).

We got the family bundle – everything was quite good, but nothing was hugely amazing. The bao dough was a great texture, and a standard flavor. The dumplings were very tasty, and definitely my favorite part. I’m glad I went but I wouldn’t need to go again.

Popped in here the other day for a light lunch and was not disappointed! I had the Small Steamer bao plate, and ordered the pork, chicken curry, and spicy tofu along with a side of cucumber salad. All three buns were delicious, my favorite being the pork and curry chicken as a very close second!

This is a fast food restaurant where bao is readily available. The interior is not large, with mostly counter seats, but the side facing the street is brightly lit with glass walls. Upon entering the restaurant, you will be greeted by a cute display of Bao. There is a set meal with Bao and a choice of cooking styles for the Dumplings. The Bao are also available with a variety of fillings, which is a nice touch.

Had to stop by to try the various vegetarian Bao. I love bao and it’s sometimes hard to find good vegetarian ones. I liked the variety but the mushroom and spicy tofu were my favourite by far. I also tried the ice jasmine tea lemonaid, which was delicious! Highly recommend

We had previously eaten at the food truck and it was great. It was awesome to see they opened a brick and mortar location. The restaurant is bright and well decorated. Food was delicious, we had both noodle dishes, pork buns and tofu buns and highly recommend all of them.

Bao Bao is my pregnancy craving godsend. I love coming in here for a quick snack. Of the 10+ times I’ve been in, service is always quick, the buns are consistently yummy, and the place is clean and low key. It’s hard to find vegetarian baozi outside of China and the mushroom one here slays. I am pretty surprised at some of the reviews because I have had a consistently good experience here and I’m generally hard to please. I finally tried the take home buns and they are also perfect (and a great deal). For a casual and quick lunch spot, Bao Bao is hard to beat in my opinion.
