My adult daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite. She ordered 3 curry Bao. $10 is not bad. It was good, but I am not a curry guy.

The space is small and can seat 20 at the most.

The business seems to do mostly Uber Eats.

The decor is minimal and too much concrete for me.

The food came out very quickly

Excellent service | Delicious baos

We unexpectedly stumbled upon this great find. We were greeted by a friendly worker who suggested to try their pork bao since we were looking to buy the 5 pack. She was so kind, she threw in 2 extra baos for us!! It was a great way to sample their flavors, so now when we return we’ll know what to get more of. We ordered these flavors: mushroom (vegan), chicken curry, pork, and sweet lotus.

Wow – please do yourself a favor and get the pork! My mouth waters as I write this review. The sweet lotus is for those who like a nougat taste like black sesame. The vegan mushroom is full of flavor! The chicken curry is really good with a little bit of spice for those who like a tad spicy.

Great prices. I want to come back and try one of their noodle soup dishes. This place is great! Great atmosphere too. It’s next door to Project Matcha.

Delicious! I had a chicken curry bao, pork bao, and the handmade pork dumplings pan fried. The baos had a very nice meat to dough ratio. You got a nice serving of tasty filling in eat bite. The handmade dumplings were absolutely amazing. You can notice the texture of the dumplings are extremely fresh and handmade! Definitely going back for all my boa and dumpling needs!

I recently visited BaoBao and was genuinely impressed — this place delivers an amazing dining experience with incredible flavors, warm service, and a cozy atmosphere.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and seated right away. The restaurant has a modern, clean, and welcoming vibe that makes you feel comfortable instantly.

Now, the food — absolutely outstanding. The dumplings are the star here, and they truly deserve the hype. Perfectly steamed or pan-fried, with thin wrappers and flavorful, juicy fillings. The pork dumplings were rich and savory, the chicken ones were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the vegetarian options had a fresh and vibrant taste. Everything tasted homemade and crafted with care.

I also tried a few small plates, and each dish was delicious: fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation. The sauces deserve a special mention — they elevate every bite.

Service was quick, attentive, and really pleasant. The staff checked in often, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect without hovering. You can tell they truly care about the customer experience.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and the portions are generous. It’s an ideal spot for a casual lunch, a quick bite, or a cozy dinner with friends.

Overall, BaoBao is a fantastic restaurant with amazing dumplings and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves flavorful Asian comfort food.

Cute small outpost. Baos and wonton soup were excellent and fresh. Zha Jiang noodles were a bit bland but still very fresh. Will come back again for baos and wonton. They also sell frozen bao and dumplings to take home. Recommended.

We had Bao Bao for lunch during our last day at the NEA RA. We were able to walk from the Convention Center to Bao Bao in under 10 minutes. We did have to wait some time until we got to order and get our food, but it was worth it. I ordered the Wonton Soup with two pork Bao bake and a milk tea with boba. All of it was very good, but the wonton soup was my favorite! Would visit again if I ever make my way back to Portland!

Neat place, small and cute. Counter service but staff are friendly. My wife and I each liked the dumplings, both steamed and fried. The bao was okay but dry and not a lot of filling :/. We tried the sweet bean, chicken curry, pork (sweet bean was my preference).

We got the family bundle – everything was quite good, but nothing was hugely amazing. The bao dough was a great texture, and a standard flavor. The dumplings were very tasty, and definitely my favorite part. I’m glad I went but I wouldn’t need to go again.
