Horrible customer service from a shift lead. I frequent this establishment in San Clemente the bowls are always tasty . Today they were charging me 3$ more for each of the 4 bowls I was about to purchase . The menue says 10$ and the guy was charging me 13$ per bowl . I ask him why he said oh let me try to fix this but he couldn’t I ask to talk to a manger . The blond girl says I’m a lead. She said the prices went up I ask why dont they change the menus pricing . She was so rude to me and my family . Laughing at us saying well I can’t change the menue . We left and will never return . I am contacting their corporate office . Horrible service !!

Banzai Bowls is super good. Been going here for years. Acai bowls are pretty expensive but it’s worth the convenience of getting good food on the go to or from the beach in my opinion. Lots of tasty options on the menu, but my favorites are the Da Kine cuz I like peanut butter or the Banzai Bowl.

Horrible customer service. I love the bowls here and my family always comes here at least once or twice every time we come to California. Tonight I walk in at 7:45, 15 minutes before they close. The cashier doesn’t greet me, doesn’t even look up from what he was doing. After I look at the menu for a couple minutes I walk up to the counter to order where I am informed that they are closed…mind you there was at least 10 people in the store and I had walked in plenty of time before they closed. If you’re going to close early why not lock the door? On top of that the cashier was very combative.

We love banzai bowls! This location is pretty slow so either call it in or be prepared to wait. Other locations are faster. We love the Da Kine with extra peanut butter and the Banzai bowl because it has everything on it! These are so refreshing and delicious. Their fruit is always really fresh!

Probably the BEST acai bowl I have ever had. Definitely get alot too in the LG good enough for 2 people to share love coming here. Tho alot of young kids working here and sometimes they are very loud when they are just “talking” with coworkers and visiting friends

The experience would be greatly improved if they set better expectations about timing. If you order on the app, it doesn’t adjust for business. Ordered my bowl at 10:04 for a 10:20 pick up. Still sitting here at 10:50 and they told me 10 more minutes. Banzai has been my favorite place since 2009, I take everyone that comes to visit, and I swear it’s the best bowl from the beginning, but staff needs better training, and more help. Poorly run by ownership.

Got out of the hospital yesterday after having a baby and wanted a banzai bowl. I call in the order and tell the girl I want 2 small bowls. We want the bowls that are like the maui sunrise but with pitaya ( I couldn’t remember the name as I’m exhausted). The girl rang us up an extra $4.00 for changing out the acai for pitaya. Why would you do this instead of ringing it up for the actual bowl? What a scummy and dishonest company. I attempted to call for the manager, but they don’t always have one there.

I visit Banzai Bowls each time I travel to California; everything there is delicious. However, this is the second time that I have visited this specific location and the second time that it took over one hour to get our order which was simply ONE BOWL. Both times the employees kept shuffling bowls and smoothies to their friends as they came in instead of serving the paying customers. Very disappointed in their customer service given they were not understaffed.. just not properly managed.
