Very kind people and homely food. Noor made Bhel puri and aloo tikki chaat for us, it was so delicious. They also have buffet. The owner Preeti is originally from Banaras and she used to be a head chef at Samsung , she started this place about 6 months back. So good to see places like this opening up in Gilroy. The food is really and price is reasonable. Please give it a try- you won’t be disappointed. We will be coming back to try their buffet.

Amazing atmosphere, tastefully decorated. You order in a kiosk. The chaats were amazing and huge quantity. The raita for the Thali was a little watered down, but otherwise everything else was fresh and flavorful. They didn’t have a big sign on the top of the entrance. It is on the corner.

Delicious food.
We had the buffet, on Sunday morning. There were plenty of vegetarian options in main as well as delicious snacks.
They serve fresh and hot breads and rice on the table.
Specially loved the Mix veg korma and Bedmi poori. Gulab jamun was yum too.
Friendly staff. Will definitely recommend.

Amazing “home cooked” food from the holy city of Banaras in India. Everything we tried was tasty. Beautiful combo cafe and restaurant style seating. Preeti provides great service and menu recommendations. Doesn’t feel “heavy” like after eating Indian food at any other restaurant. Highly recommend.

Great food and ambience.

Bhelpuri was the highlight of all. Bedami kachauri also won our hearts.

Overall it was great to come and enjoy Preeti’s hospitality. Great host and very down to earth owner.

Just one feedback Quantity of chokha can be increased a bit. It was very tasty as well

While traveling back to the Bay Area with my family, we decided to take a short break in Gilroy to refuel both ourselves and the car—and it turned out to be a truly wonderful decision. From the moment we walked in, the place felt welcoming and comforting. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations in every way……

We tried the Litti Chokha, Bedami Kachori, buttermilk, and tea, and every item was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and reminded us of wholesome, home-cooked meals. The Litti Chokha had a rustic, earthy taste that felt straight out of Bihar, while the Bedami Kachori was crisp, flavorful, and perfectly paired with its accompaniments. The refreshing buttermilk and soothing tea were the perfect complements, making the meal feel complete and satisfying.

What truly elevated the experience was Preeti, the owner, whose warmth, kindness, and friendly nature made us feel right at home. Her passion for authentic food and hospitality clearly reflects in every detail. This stop in Gilroy turned into a memorable family experience, and I would absolutely love to visit again to explore more Banarasi dishes infused with the rich and authentic flavors of Bihar.

Really fresh and yummy food. One of the biggest downsides of eating at lot of Indian restaurants is they use/reuse frozen stuff but this place cooks from scratch. We had one of the best jeera aaloo in a very long time, reminded us of our mom. And rotis/phulkas again very fresh and perfect, just like home. Samosas were also really good, not frozen. Very friendly and warm staff, they accommodated our special requests of making food without onion. Would 100% recommend. If they were in Dublin, we could order multiple times a week without guilt of eating out.

I went with my nephew and his wife, who is from Northern India. (I’m pretty new to Indian food.) We enjoyed the food, which was authentic and tasty. It was maybe a little pricey for lunch, but delicious. Next time I go, I’ll try the buffet, so I can taste everything and find my favorites.

If stars could speak, they would line up endlessly for Preety. Not just for her food, but for the heart she pours into every creation. She is more than an exceptional chef—she is a storyteller, weaving love, warmth, and memories into each dish.

Every plate she serves feels alive with emotion. We have tasted many of her dishes, and each one carries its own soul, its own story. Her momos, especially, are unforgettable—without question the best I have ever had in the U.S. Each bite is comfort, joy, and pure magic.

Preety’s cooking is not just about flavor; it’s about feeling. You can taste her passion, her care, and her devotion in every mouthful. Her food feels like home, like being held, like love made edible. Experiencing her cooking is a gift—one that lingers long after the last bite.
