10/10 would recommend. Food was amazing and drinks were even better. Bartenders were so nice and made such amazing drinks. Lindsey was awesome and recommended us some local options that turned out amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!!

came here for restaurant week and had such a great experience!! cozy vibes inside, and everything ordered was delicious – from the Brussels sprout salad, salmon with sweet potato succotash, & chocolate layer cake with marshmallow! Would definitely come back here to try their regular menu and drinks at the bar!

I was staying at Lowes so this was my go to restaurant. Once during breakfast found hair in my pancakes, told the server she just replaced them with no conversation as if it was regular thing. Good food, limited vegan options. Super slow service.

NO POOL! No outdoor terrace! No ability to change temperatures in the rooms! Despite several webpages that say one of their amenities is a pool and that their ADA accessibility page still mentions the pool TWICE, we arrived there to find out that there is no pool. The workers pretended to be “surprised” about this (you could tell that they’d played it off quite a few times) and stared back at us. Various places on the property including directionals mention the pool. There isn’t one! There’s also no outdoor terrace despite various sites mentioning that. In addition to this, we could not lower the AC blasting away in our room. We called twice about it and they sent the engineer who instructed me that the on/off button doesn’t work but that you have to hold it for 30 secs until it turns off. We did that and it turned off…only to suddenly turn back on full blast again. It was set at 64F and we spent 80% of our time in the room trying to turn it off. We called back but the concierge got distracted and never sent the engineer back. We were freezing! They also do not have a parking garage but *only* valet parking and hold $100/day on your credit card until after checkout. Pros: neighborhood is safe (but full of homeless addicts publicly using, an unfortunate reality so beware if traveling with kids) and the hotel is one block from Reading Terminal market. Facility is clean and the valet workers were honest and hardworking.

We had vouchers for free breakfast due to an issue with our room. Wow! What a treat. The breakfast buffet was not only beautiful but also delicious! It was some of the best fruit I’ve ever had! It was all perfectly ripe.

1st time visiting Philly and my sister decided we would go here (her husband is from Philly). My friend and I ordered the Amish half chicken, wife ordered the duroc pork chop, sister got branzino, brother in law got salmon, friend got duck leg….. Both half chickens were under cooked and flavorless. Wife’s pork chop was well seasoned. My fingerling potatoes were good, but my friend who ordered the same meal, hers were burnt. My sister said her branzino was soggy and served upside down. Other friend said the duck was good. My brother in law, couldn’t tell me how his salmon was because they forgot about his order and they didn’t bring it out until everyone else was done eating. My young niece and nephew food was good (because they got grilled cheese and a burger). The servers are not dressed causally which is cool, but it was confusing because we couldn’t tell the difference from our main server, and the bus person. There were 3 different people taking care of us, after the person who introduced himself as our main server. We felt very rushed, and underserved. It was difficult getting a pitcher of ice water refilled for our table. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Ambience is great for any occasion. I probably would give this spot another shot. I do like the menu options, and I do feel everyone deserves a second chance. But this visit didn’t do it for me.

The food and drinks here did not disappoint, especially the Branzino, which was excellent. Meanwhile, the staff on our visit were decent, but a bit lacking in menu knowledge and attentiveness. The ambiance was the least appealing aspect of Bank and Bourbon, which seemed bland and poorly situated near the busy Market Street entrance to the Loews Hotel.
