I ordered a non- veg Thali and I had to regret. The items literally had no taste. I could smell the meat without any other flavors. I requested the chef for two items replacement with veg options. So he was kind enough to replace them with paneer and aloo gobi. Paneer was the only item which was good. I left the entire meal. Would not recommend any of the Thalis.

I visited Banjara with a group of about 50 people for a wedding lunch. For appetizers, we had samosas, fish, kebabs, pani puri, and chana. The main course included biryani, roti, chole bhature, fish, and additional kebabs. Desserts consisted of gulab jamun, kheer, and gajar ka halwa.
Overall, the food was just okay and not great but acceptable for a wedding lunch. It’s an average place. I would not go out of my way to visit again, but if there were no other options, I might consider coming back.

A go to spot for best Indian cuisines and authentic spices. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly ground spices and simmering curries set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The ambiance was really good yet vibrant, but the real star of the evening was the chef who prepared the food authentic, full of flavor, and clearly made with heart.

I came here for the weekend buffet. Food was very good. Variety types of curry, salad bar, fruit, and desserts! Also the free mango juice!
BUT i took a star off because of the service. It’s extremely slow, i had to ask multiple times for nann refills. Also I get that parents want to bring their kids to the restaurant on the weekends but it was nightmare. Kids crying and running around under no adult control. It made me so uncomfortable.

Food was stale, dry, and outright bad. Hardly any veg options. The biryani was a disaster, nothing like biryani, with a bizarre taste and way too much baking soda that caused severe bloating. Completely ruined the meal. Absolutely do not recommend this place.

We had a wonderful evening at Banjara. The ambience and the attentive staff made our experience very enjoyable. However the star of the evening was the food. The presentation was very appealing and food tasted delicious. They have a great selection of appetizers and a unique concept called Small plates where the portion is just perfect for one person. I will definitely go back again to try the other items on the menu.

Absolutely delicious spread shared amongst friends. Banjara is also giving 15% off for dining in using code DINEIN15 or showing them my insta post! Great quality food with an excellent staff, I recommend to anyone that enjoys Indian food.
✨️ Pani Poori: MY FAVOURITE, it’s so fun and refreshing.
✨️ Banjara tandoori non-veg sampler: little bit of everything meat sampler which I loved being able to try it all.
✨️ Chicken Biryani: a great classic that is very well done.
✨️ Lamb Korma: flavours are awesome, a really great dish for ppl who love authentic Indian cuisine and paired so well with rice.
✨️ Butter chicken: a crowd pleaser, classic and great addition to dinner and perfect to dip the fresh Naan in.
✨️ Onion/spinach bhajia: Great appetizer, crunchy outside and soft on the inside.
✨️ Tandoori chicken: Another staple that everyone loves!
✨️ Dessert sampler: The gulab jamun is my favvvv.
All the drinks were phenomenal as well, the mango Lassi was amasing.

We called ahead to ask about the thali and were told that both thali and a dinner buffet were available, and that the buffet was excellent. However, when we arrived, the buffet was very small and did not include a single vegetarian entrée, even on a Saturday evening. After checking the buffet, we decided to leave feeling disappointed. Also whatever food was there also has wrong names on it. The restaurant was also nearly empty on a Saturday night, which further raised concerns about the food quality.

My husband and I love Banjara and any time our friends ask where to go for good Indian food, this is it! The dishes are consistently delicious and flavorful. Some of our favorites: Karari Palak Chaat, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Korma (any protein the sauce is amazing), Chicken Biryani, Palak Paneer, and Garlic Naan . For drinks I love the mango lassi and salted lassi (very acquired taste if you’ve never had a yogurt drink before). Dessert favorites are their Gulab Jamun and Saffron Kheer. The ambiance is spacious and traditional. PS: be prepared for a wait on the weekends for the buffet… it can get busy. The buffet is such a good deal for the quality, variety, and quantity of food you get. Also if you get Jefferson as your server, you are in good hands… He’s our favorite!

I am out of state and after hearing raving reviews, decided to give this joint a try for a family dinner. After ages, truly enjoyed overall experience at Banjara Flavors of India in Ashburn VA with amazing food and prompt and friendly service during busy dinner rush. It is a gem for scrumptious North Indian fair. For appetizers we got Dahi puri, pani puri, palak chaat, raj kachori, and soya chapp tikka and everything was absolutely delicious. For dinner ordered entries for the table : malai kofta, Punjabi kadi, paneer makhni, dal tadka, butter chicken and chicken biryan with assorted naans, roties and parathas. Finished the meal with rich classic desserts such as Gajjar halwa, moong dal halwa, and rasa malai. Not to forget thoughtfully crafted cocktails and mocktails! Overall a wonderful experience in a family friendly restaurant. My absolute fav was soya chapp tikka. Can’t wait go back!
