I usually take baby ribs home for $6, but when I stopped by today, they charged me $7.50 with an attitude. $1,5 and losing a loyal customer forever.
I’m definitely never coming back.

Small shop with a decent counter of food options. Currently it’s $7.50 for rice with 2 choices. Add $1 for soup. The banh xeo is $10 for 2. I was so pleased when they bundled it up with fish sauce and a bag of veggies!

This was recommended by a friend and I will definitely be back often for a quick take out dinner

The freshest best banh tieu, or Vietnamese donut! I come here to get like 20 of them. They are made fresh. It’s also huge! It’s light flavor and not so sweet so you can eat it for snack or like bread with other food. It’s good for about 5 days without refrigeration. Their Vietnamese to go food is pretty average. Anyways, highly recommend their banh tieu!

My wife said she wanted “Vietnamese breakfast,” which to her means rice porridge A.K.A. Cháo Gà and Vietnamese crepes A.K.A. Bánh Xèo. So I did a search in the vicinity of the Airbnb we were staying at for a place that sold both of these items and came across Bánh Mì Số 1. The porridge was awesome — very flavorful, and our kids loved it too. That said, I think the crepes, crispy as they were, could have done with a bit more flavor and filling; I felt they were pretty light in the shrimp / meat department compared to other ones I’ve had. We also got Vietnamese donuts (Bánh Tiêu) and sweetened coffee, which were both good.

$7 very cheap for 1 big plate rice and 2 items like fried chicken and baby ribs. Only 1 small table to eat. Very casual and a little bit dirty eating area. Most people buy to go

This spot has been here forever. The food is authentic. If you are craving Vietnamese style home cooking, this place will hit the spot. Their prices are reasonable. Thank you for your service all these years.

My favorite quick lunch spot! I like the thit kho and pork meatballs. Add Canh for only an extra dollar!

Grilled chicken and pork here is among the best in Little Saigon. I also like their “bánh tiêu” which is very delicious. The ground beef wrapped in ‘piper lolot’ leaves is also excellent (bò cuốn lá lốt). I come here once every month.

This is a little carry out of Vietnamese food. They have wonderful grilled chicken on the stick or by the piece. Also wonderful grilled pork balls which I dip in my home-made satay sauce … oh so good. Grilled ground beef wrapped in grape leaves. A large selections of other foods that one can buy by container or as a combo box. I don’t like all the foods but most are very good for my taste.
One of my favorite is the crêpe-like dish which has pork, shrimp & bean sprout inside, served with fresh lettuce & herbs in a special sauce. I normally take them home, toast them on both sides. Only thing I didn’t like is that the shrimps still have the shells & tails on so I have to remove them. Most Vietnamese like to eat their small shrimps that way.
Servers are pleasant & courteous.

Decent food but not the best place to sit and dine. If you are, get a rice platter or banh mi as they don’t provide plates – remember, it’s a food to go place. Everything else is pretty decent and decently priced. Not exactly family friendly in terms of dining as again, it’s designed as a food to go not a sit and dine in restaurant. Banh Xeo was okay, Bot Chien was gross and mushy. Eggrolls also decent.
