I think it’s one of the best value sandwiches you can get. A steal at only $6.25. I tried the #8 grilled pork and #10 bbq pork. I liked them both but I think the grilled pork flavor was much better.

Been craving a good banh mi since I left California. The banh mi is better than DC or Ba Le. Bread is crunchy and soft and just tastes better – fresh, crispy vegetables and generous with the fresh meat. I’ve gotten old tasting meat from DC. Got a 1 (combination) and 6 (shredded chicken). Killed the shredded chicken in the car. The guy also prompted me everything on it (opted out on pate) and vegetables on the side or inside, which I appreciate him checking with me. Great price. Will be back

This spot deserves a place in my top tier DMV bahn mi rotation. Heard this place makes their own pate and bakes their own bread. The bread is a little chewier than my other go-to spot, and I think I prefer the bread here. Don’t skip these spots on the fringes of the Eden Center!

Stopped by Banh Mi So 1 at Eden Center and grabbed a Dac Biet and a grilled chicken banh mi. The baguette was thinner and smaller than the typical banh mi, which was a bit disappointing. The flavors were decent, but I expected more since it’s in Eden Center. Overall, nothing too special. I had taken the banh mi to go with the veggies on the side. You can see the quantity of meat in the banh mi with and without the veggies. Three banh mi cost $20 USD!

Best Bite: #7 cured pork is my current favorite and I like it with the carrot and radish inside opposed to putting it on later myself when it’s not the side. The pork, to veg, to spice, to bread ratio is just perfect

Challenge accepted. Buy 4 Sandwiches, 5th is FREE. Great place, family owned and great service. The bread is crispy outside and oh so soft inside, the perfect reservoir for the 14+ selections of protein. Lots of pork, styled in many special ways, pate, chicken and seafood. Get the veggies on the side, if taking them to go. You’ll thank me later when you see just how much you can stuff and fill on your own. The BBq and Chargrilled pork and sausage were our favorites. Steamed buns, round out a perfect lunch or picnic.

Do not buy “banh trung, banh tet” here, they used broken rices, bad meat, not mung bean inside, not even banh tet, they made something else…I bought 2 banh tet but cannot eat. Watch out that they did not print out receipts but charged sale taxes.

Ordered 5 and got 1. Most of them were quite light on the filling and the bread was a little thicker than the traditional banh mi. There are better banh mi spots in the Eden Center.

They sell housemade butter and pate for a good price but the pate doesn’t taste as good as other banh mi shops I’ve had.

It’s good bahn mi, but not the best. They could take this establishment from good to great but maybe they don’t need to. The bread and pate is made from scratch. The flavors and composition of a bahn mi are all there.
What they need to work on is improving the baguette. There’s ok bread and then there is amazing bread. Even though the bread is made from scratch, it’s not that far from wholesale baguettes.
Make sure you ask for a bag of veggies for every sandwich. They’ll try to give you one bag for 2 sandwiches but they miss out on providing enough veggies for 2.
