The Banh Mi here are simply brilliant. I’m from Melbourne and have tasted many in Melbourne, and the Bahn Mi O’clock’s Roast Pork Banh Mi is up there with the absolute BEST in Melbourne. I’ve also had many in Adelaide and this is one of the best in Adelaide.
The Baguette is crunchy like it should be, the pâte and sauces are tasty but not overwhelming, the julienne carrot is slightly pickled, there’s a small amount of onion on it, julienne cucumber as well. I had coriander and chilli, and the coriander application is generous. The Banh Mi here aren’t overloaded to buggery, but they’re not scant either, they’re a good size and a great price at $9.90 (Jan 2025). Highly recommend and my advice is that a 25km drive to taste one is justified.

The lack of preparation, all you hear is microwave beeps, zero cooking or freshly cooked. Fried rice, was yuck! Travelled to Vietnam twice, this shop is a embarrassment to Vietnamese food. Since changing hands its gone down hill big time. These two working there have no desire to do good cooking. Yuck food. head to st agnes for nice Vietnamese food, you’ll hear them cooking your food in the wok. Its freshly cooked, delicious food, unlike this place. Quiet frankly im surprised this place is still going.

Food is not good. Rice is hard as a rock due to the manager admitting that the rice is cooked days prior and then refrigerated.
I don’t buy food from places that have short cuts when it comes to food preparation.
Won’t be back.

These are honestly the best Bahn Mi I have tried! Awesome vegan and non vegan options too! And we’ve tried a lot! Please don’t ever change your recipes ❤️❤️❤️ the tofu one is my absolutely favourite thing! And my husband loves the combo rolls.

Over the past weeks food has been lacking, banh mi has been shrinking and pho is tasteless and bland. We used to come here alot and would rate it highly but since the change of hands we don’t come here often anymore. Hope in future the food will improve and become more like it used too be.

I’m not a massive fan of companies that charge you extra to pay by card without advertising/warning of that fact. The last two times I’ve been here it’s $9.90 for a banh mi and suddenly it’s $10.06 without any notification. Yes it’s only 16 cents but it’s the principle. I won’t be coming back.

Not impressed, we ordered 4 Bahn mi 3 with no chilli no coriander but when I took a bite from mine there was chilli all through it. When I called to ask for a new roll the woman on the phone was not helpful at all and said to me oh no it’s because we cook the tofu in sweet chilli and when I said well I asked for no chilli she said oh next time you can just order plain tofu with not sweet chilli and was not admitting any fault. I got nowhere with the woman on the phone and so have not eaten lunch due to this, I could not eat my roll because I cannot eat chilli due to a medical condition. There is no statement on their menu to say that the tofu is cooked with sweet chilli not to mention if someone says to you no chilli you need to make them aware that the tofu has chilli in it otherwise we would not have wasted our money on food I could not eat!
