Social Profile:

Kêu Soho is a Vietnamese restaurant in London serving bold, authentic Saigon street food, crafted with premium ingredients and time-honoured Vietnamese cooking techniques. Bánh Mì and Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang are our specialties. We proudly serve Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang — a Saigon noodle soup made with fresh noodles flown in from Bến Thành Market, exclusive to Kêu in the UK. Our Saigon Original Bánh Mì is handmade to order with traditional fillings. Though fast in service, our food is cooked slowly with care. The menu reflects what locals eat for lunch in Saigon: bánh mì, noodle soups, and rice bowls. We offer takeaway, delivery and cater to offices, events and corporate orders with lunch platters. Kêu has 4 locations: Soho, Shoreditch, City and Borough.

Light-filled cafe with stools, shared tables and tiled floors, for Vietnamese rolls and rice bowls.

Trio meat roast was excellent. The pork belly was particularly tasty. Won ton soup is highly recommended. Broth was rich and tasty. One massive caveat was the pak choi which was stone cold. A tiny bit on the pricey side (but excusable given the prime soho location). £18 for the trio roast meat and £9 for the soup plus jasmine tea and service charge. Total – £34. Of course you don’t have to be as gluttonous as me and perhaps skip the soup… or not… as the soup is quite delicious!

The Bánh Mì Hội An here is excellent! Even in Hà Nội (not Hội An of course ☺️), I’ve never found a place that does it better than Keu in London.

If you’re looking for a Bánh Mì that truly makes you go “wow,” make sure to stop by Keu. Thanks for curing my homesick stomach!

On a side note, I also tried the fresh spring rolls and was amazed by them too! I love that they don’t just fill the rolls with mostly bún (noodles) like many Vietnamese restaurants abroad do, but instead pack them with plenty of fresh veggies and herbs – such a joyful and refreshing bite!

Highly recommended for people who love street style food. Very tasty
I love it. It was my first experience to try Saigon food and I may recommend – the food has a lot of taste.
We have tried: rice with duck (very tender meat) and egg noodles with pork & prawn -Saigon style

Best banh mi in London

I’ve been coming to this place for years. Ever since I got back from Vietnam and tried to find somewhere for decent banh mi in London. The sandwiches here are incredible and the other dishes eg. Trio meat roast are also delicious. They were kind to us when visiting with our toddler and baby. Highly recommend!

Great casual restaurant to get very authentic Vietnamese food at a reasonable cost. Staff are friendly and efficient. Can get busy so you may need to wait for a seat.

I ordered lunch as a takeaway from this spot in Soho and was pleasantly surprised. I had the beef brisket rice bowl — the beef was incredibly tender, and the sauce was rich and flavorful without being overpowering. It was a satisfying, well-balanced dish. My colleagues recommended the pork belly, so I’ll definitely be trying that next time. Overall, a solid option for a quick and tasty lunch.

This restaurant is always my top place to have lunch or dinner. It is one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in London, specialising in cuisines from the south of Vietnam. If you would like try anything else apart from Pho, I recommend Banh mi (Vietnamese baguette) and My Tho noodle soup. The price is affordable, especially compared to Soho area.

As a wonton noodle lover, I am very much dissatisfied with the wonton noodle at this restaurant. The hefty price tag (£17.5) didn’t correspond to the quality at all. First of all, I suspect that the wontons weren’t really ‘homemade’ as the menu claimed so, and instead seemed to be merely the frozen ones which you can buy in supermarkets. Even if the wontons were homemade, they didn’t taste good at all and they should be improved substantially. Similarly, it also seems to me that the egg noodles were not handmade, and were bought simply in supermarkets. Again, if the noodles were really handmade, I would then suggest a more rigorous quality control. Lastly, the soup was flavourless.
With all due respect, with the hefty price tag, I expect the food to be homemade/handmade or at least on par with other high-quality restaurants, as this is the one of the most expensive wonton noodles I have ever tried in my life.
