There are only a few places in the city I would want to give 6 stars to and this is one of them! The service, the food, the consistency and the quality! Please don’t ever change unless it’s to expand and get a proper sit down! Amazing little Vietnamese restaurant! The PHO is So so good we pleaded for them to sell it to us in catering style for our daughter’s favourite! And the quality did not change it was even better in such a large capacity order! Lovely ppl working there!

Delicious.
I had the grilled beef banh mi and a vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls.
The banh mi was perfectly toasted. The sandwich was loaded with grilled beef and had the usual pickled daikon and carrots with cucumber, cilantro.
Some minor criticism. I know it’s odd to say, but I would’ve actually preferred a bit less meat and a bit more daikon, carrot and cilantro. I don’t know if I can request this, but I would’ve liked to add crushed peanuts, liver pate and some sweet sauce (Nước Chấm).
I loved the vermicelli noodles. They give a generous amount of meat with a reasonable amount of rice noodles, vegetables and sauce. It really hit the spot. I feel crushed peanuts and beans sprouts would’ve been a nice addition.
Overall, the banh mi and vermicelli noodles were delicious and I’ll be coming back for more.

Food was delicious. I got the Char Siu sandwich. The bread was crispy, the pickles were crisp and sweet, the meat was well sauced.
Others in our party needed a gluten free option and got the pho. The broth was fragrant and delicious and the toppings were fresh. Portions were generous!

Clean, fast, cheap, awesome. I had the new grilled pepper beef Bahn Mi, an order of taro spring rolls and a canned drink all for $15. Flavour and finish on everything was incredible. Super friendly service, quick turn around and super clean restaurant. If you’re still reading this stop, and just go already!

I’ve tried many famous and lesser-known rice noodle shops in Winnipeg, so I wanted to see how good this Vietnamese sandwich shop really is!
Upon entering, I saw Asian staff and instinctively asked, “Do you speak mandarin?” No? Alright then. — After that, I noticed that all the staff, including the owner, were conversing in Vietnamese. — Is it really this authentic?
I looked at the menu for a while and ordered the signature beef sandwich, beef pho, vegetarian spring rolls, and a cup of tap water.
Not long after, the food arrived, starting with the beef sandwich, which was hot. The beef was pan-fried with sauce, giving it a distinct BBQ flavor. The sandwich also contained carrots, daikon, cucumbers, and cilantro to enhance the taste. The texture of the beef immediately became rich and flavorful. The crunchiness of the daikon forced me to chew more, prolonging the beef’s presence in my mouth. Combined with the crispy sandwich bread (reheated in the oven), it became even more delicious.
The fried spring rolls were just average, with the only advantage being that they were freshly fried.
Then came the beef pho. My first impression was that the portion was huge, surpassing all the rice noodles I’ve had elsewhere. There was a lot of beef and noodles, so it seemed like there wasn’t much broth. The beef had fatty edges, making it oily and tender, with a satisfying chewiness that released more flavor the more I chewed. The noodles were just okay. After finishing the noodles, there was still a lot of beef resting at the bottom of the bowl. The only thing I hope for next time is that the restaurant can provide some real chili oil and vinegar — because the broth was too sweet for my taste.

I ordered several subs and salad rolls with pork and shrimp for a get-together, and they were an absolute hit. All my friends were blown away from the first bite. These subs were so insanely good they devoured them in no time and asked me for the restaurant name so they could check out it themselves. The peanut butter sauce with the salad rolls were such a perfect match, so refreshing and delisshh! I’m personally head over heels for the vegan tofu banh mi. I have no idea what kind of sauce they use, but it’s absolutely addictive!! The prices are also very affordable. Highly recommend this place!

This is a great place for Vietnamese subs. I usually get the beef extra spicy. It’s a mom and pop operation so I definitely like supporting local business. I highly recommend. Let’s support local business over corporate behemoths!

Came across this shop less than a month ago and I’ve been there about 3 times now. I can’t get enough of their banh mi!
Very respectable sized bun and the meat was delicious and for that price, it’s such a deal. Their other dishes are also delicious and really a bang for your buck. Vietnamese iced coffee also just had the right sweetness to it. I will keep coming back and I will try everything on their menu.
Staff are also very friendly! Atmosphere gets a 3 because it’s just super plain. I personally wouldn’t eat in and the times I’ve come, I’ve just gotten take out but don’t let that deter you away from trying their food. Would most definitely keep coming back.
