Had a great experience at Banh Mi Bon. There was little to no wait, the food was fresh, and the service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The space is a bit small, so I don’t recommend for large groups. Overall, a solid spot I’d definitely return to.

My boyfriend and I love to come here. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly and attentive. I have a food allergy and I came for the second time and the waitress remembered.

My most favorite place for Grilled Pork Chop Rice Plate! They have the closest match of flavors and aroma to this dish in Saigon. The pork chop was always grilled fresh to order so it’s very moist and tender. The portion is very good for the price $11.99 too (with fried egg). It’s a small shop for quick dine-in. I don’t live in the area but always try to stop by whenever I can. Highly recommended!

I visited this place on my lunch break (lunch for me is 3PM-ish)
Overall, a great place to eat some quality food. You’ve got a really cute waitress at the front with a very warm smile, crunchy French bread rolls and pork that has just the perfect amount of char to it. Their Bahn Mi might be the best I’ve had in Houston. I saw some people in the reviews that said this place was too expensive and if you really think that, you are out of your mind. Try running a business that manages to make delicious Bahn Mi for like 7 dollars whilst also paying employees, rent for the restaurant and keeping the lights on. Get a grip people!
I also had their Lemon Pepper wings. Even though they were good, the sweetness of them was not at all what I was expecting. They were good, just not what I was looking for. I was expecting a more savory flavor. I’ve never had wings that were sweet in a Viet restaurant.
I wanted to use their bathroom but it was closed.
Overall, for the price – it’s great. Wait times are reasonable, it’s clean and overall as others have described it – a hidden gem.
Constructive criticism:
– I got their tea, and it was fine without sugar but I wanted a sweet tea. I was given Splenda – which is an artificial sweetener. I think it would be good if they had regular white granulated sugar.
– Some of the best sellers at other Bahn Mi joints are Spicy Pork. Usually, this isn’t just pork with jalapeños but the spicy pork itself is marinated in a hot red sauce. I would like it if they had an actual spicy pork option instead of just regular pork with jalapeños.
Highly recommend coming here, you won’t be disappointed.

First time to eat here. It is not what I like.
Steak Pho and Spring Roll are okay. But roll looks not very pretty. Don’t recommend to order Wings here. You can see feathers after she brought it to your table and also they are very dry and tasteless. Besides, service needs to be improved. The server didn’t repeat your order before charging you. I totally forgot what I ordered and then she went to kitchen for a long time. Later I found that was not exactly what I wanted.

The food here tastes okay. The portion is a little small to me for a $13 combination pho. The waitress is really friendly. I hope their credit card machine or internet gets back to work soon due to the big storm last week. If you don’t have cash on you or use zelle, you can’t get a meal.
