First time trying this place since moving to South Philly. LOVED IT!!! The food is fresh and delicious. KJ was our server and he is so sweet! A regular neighborhood spot for us now. Definitely authentic Viet food with a new take. The cocktails are insanely good.

Authentic food with upgraded ingredients in a cozy nighttime atmosphere. Fun date night spot with incredible food and cocktails!! This was our second time here. We got the Obama bowl for two – it was amazing! It’s HUGE – but we loved everything on it. It’s basically mega upgraded bun ca. the cocktails were unique, fresh, and so yummy. We have been here before for just the banh mi which we also loved. We will be back for sure!

Dunno if restaurant week the ingredients are different but I felt like the ribeye is overcooked, it tasted more like stewed meat. our buns has half of the meat compared to the ones other people posted. Pho was too salty. A little bit let down since I came after seeing those beautiful photos. Recommend think twice or lower your expectations.

I had a chance to stop by here before my train arrived, and thank goodness I did because that train ride turned out to be a nightmare. I would have been starving if I hadn’t stopped here. I had summer rolls with a couple of cocktails, and even though I’m not usually a fan of summer rolls, these were surprisingly delicious! I ordered them because I wanted something light since I wasn’t super hungry, and I mainly went to try the Ube espresso.
The summer rolls made me curious about the rest of the menu. If I lived in Philly, this would definitely be my go-to place. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. The drinks were also fantastic. I also had the “Don’t Let Go, Jack ” which tasted like summer in a glass.
Overall, it was a great spot, and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Went as a group, tasted several options. Very nice place (ramp and restroom on main floor, so it’s accessible. We were greeted and shown to our reserved seats. The staff was kind and worked well together. Everything was delicious and fresh. The noodle portion was huge so I had plenty for leftovers. There’s a bar, so there are alcohol options. I’ll definitely be back! SO yummy!

FANTASTIC time here sitting at the bar. Huy the bartender is fabulous. He made some really good suggestions for food and drinks based on our preferences– and you can tell he’s passionate about the menu beyond the banh mi and bottles!
We ordered the tamarind tofu banh mi, tofu bún, vegetarian bao, and vegetarian spring rolls. Only my roommate is vegetarian, but as someone that is NOT plant-based I thought the food was really well balanced and thoughtful. They use a lot of marinated mushrooms and season/cook the tofu well, so it doesn’t feel like a cop-out or an afterthought. Plus, you can’t go wrong with delicious SAUCE for everything! Definitely coult have had a little more heat in some areas, but we didn’t miss it so much to feel the need to ask for extra peppers to be brought out. All of our drinks were fantastic: rum forest rum, khaleesi means queen, house sangria, and a lychee martini.
I believe the owner of the resturant brought us our food, too! The hosts and bartender were super attentive and welcoming. The bar seats were comfortable and I had plenty of space during a Thursday happy hour (which is from 4 PM to 7 PM!) I can’t wait to go back!

Very good Vietnamese place. Delicious cocktails and beer. The bao buns, calamari, baby ribs were fantastic along with the pho. The garlic butter noodles were so flavorful and the ambience was very very good. Will go back soon.

They take Vietnamese food to ANOTHER level. If you’re looking for a perfect date night spot, this is the place to go. Not only are the food & drinks absolutely amazing, but the service is impeccable. They take care of you, and everything is so well thought out that it shows in the food’s flavors, textures, and the overall experience. I haven’t had Vietnamese food like this before, it takes a lot of talent to create food that looks exquisite, tastes incredible and is 100% authentic. My favorite dishes were the Chả Cá Lã Vọng, Hến Xúc Bánh Đa, and the Viet Cajun Shrimp Bowl. We will for sure be coming back.

A very modern, authentic Vietnamese spot right on South Street.
Was able try a variety of items on the menu. The pho and rice platter were pretty good, but the pho brisket banh mi was different than anything I’ve tried. It was like a deconstructed bowl of pho, using the same pho seasoning for the meat on the sandwich with a bowl of broth for dipping. Really great flavor. All of the drinks my group got were also great.
Only knock would be the price was a little steep for the amount you got. Not a huge sandwich with not a lot of fries. I would recommend going when they have deals during happy hour.
