I got some rice rolls to go and they were solid. The ground shrimp one – not a TON of filling is my only complaint but overall I still enjoyed it. The ground pork one was perhaps a bit better for me. Wish they had a grilled pork version. The shrimp, potato and sweet potato fritter was nice when I warmed it up in a toaster oven. Much better than just eating it cold imo.
The fish sauce with the side of hot chili was delicious as others have said. Plus the fried shallots or whatever is the topping – really nice.
For banh cuon I would come back again for sure. Food came out quickly and I didn’t have any problems ordering since the menu is so small – just pointed.
Restaurant is in the south hallway that you walk past as you enter the grocery store.

I think this is the best banh cuon. Cha lua and the shrimp cake are very good
The price is very reasonable. The fish sauce is also delicious. If you are craving for banh cuon, this is the place. Very tasty. I highly recommend it!

Passed by this restaurant several times but first visit. Vietnamese food but provide pictures, some language barrier but I love to try new foods. Furthermore, I try to support small local businesses. Nice decoration but need to keep it clean and bright.
Not sure will I visit again since I was looking for some hot soup noodle. But, I’m happy on this short visit.

I am always looking for great Vietnamese food. The bands cuon here is delicious! Thin, fresh flour, and flavorful filling!
I got the shrimp filling. They give you the right amount of nuoc mam and veggies. Also, there is a potatoes shrimp chip they give that adds a great crunch and texture!
I also got their pickled mustard greens. Perfect sour saltiness, with little sweetness.

No chance of menu anxiety on what to order and fomo. They only have a handful of dishes on the menu. I guess I should have gotten their bahn coun but i wasnt feeling it today and got their vermicelli dish. It was not the best I have had. The grilled pork had a strange taste to it and the dish was small for the price. I also had a Vietnamese dessert, che thai and i ended up eating it with a chopstick since i couldnt find a spoon or a big straw in the place. the dessert was actually decent with lychee, jackfruit and lots of gelatin strips

I like their authentic banh cuon, but I’ll rate it a 8.5/10 because I prefer a lighter or thinner rice sheet and it was not very hot when it was served. Convenient location, inside of Cali Saigon Mall and next to the supermarket. When they’re busy like in the weekend or lunch time, expect to wait 15-20 mins. I usually call ahead. Today I came at 4PM on a Monday and didn’t have to wait much.

Located in Cali Saigon Mall and is a small operation. They specialize in banh cuon (rice rolls). The lady that runs the front doesn’t speak English, so you’ll have to be patient and communicate well what you want to order (or hopefully someone can help translate like they did for us). It is very hectic because you order at the front but she is running around everywhere and not necessarily paying attention or working on something else. We had to wait 10 minutes at the counter before she acknowledged us. There was a large group behind us that kept on trying to order but weren’t able to and just left.
However, once we got the order in it was smooth sailing. The banh cuon itself is very fresh and thin. Great flavors and the fried potato/shrimp fritter is also tasty. We also got the hu tieu nam vang, which is like a pork and shrimp rice noodle soup. It had great flavor and came out hot. You pay at the end and they do accept credit card. The lady is very nice once things slow down but hope they can smooth out the operation a little more in the future because the food is delicious.

I have never been so mad.I will never come back!! I bought 2 pounds of bánh cuốn tôm, paid for it and have the receipt. I know that their food always takes a long time to wait. I i would go to the market and come back to get the food. I came back after an hour later, my food was still NOT READY. I had my baby with me and she cried a lot, loudly the whole time so I want to hurry up and go home. BUT the food took another 15 minutes to be ready. The TOTAL TIME my 2 pounds of bánh cuốn was 1 HOUR and 15 MINS to take out. I never write a bad review for a restaurant but this really made me mad. Not the first time I have eaten at this place but this time really disappointed me.

Banh cuon was delicious. Generous portion and I love the little shrimp fritter they serve on the side. Their nuoc mam cham is also some of the best!!
