I gave this place 5 stars previously and I’m completely disappointed in today’s food. How is one sub the same as the other. We ordered two meatball subs and one Queen City. You will see from the pics that they are completely different in the same order . Both meatballs are bland, super small and have zero sauce. Both which cost more than the sub in the pics which is double in size. Consistency is a big factor and value for my hard earned dollar. The young lady who made our food and gave it to me was pleasant but should be taught what a value is. I can walk across the street to a very good competitor and get the best food I’ve ever had , and it looks like I will from now on. So disappointed .

Born and raised in Philly. I had the best cheesesteak outside the Philly area here. I was very happy! I also recommend the mainstreet sandwich and the Paul Bunyan. Huge and yummy!

Been here a few times on the way to BGR airport. Usually ordered the Cluckin’ Bacon Ranch which was OK. This time, I decided to order a Kenduskeag and a Ruben Sandwich. The Kenduskeag literally had one slice of ham and one slice of cheese and some vegies on it- that’s it. For $11.50 there was next to no protein in the sandwich. The Ruben was on rye with a crust so stale and hard, it was not edible- another waste of $11.50. Thing is that the owners here just don’t give a damn. No way should a customer ever get slices of stale bread from any sandwich shop. I have pictures below. Do yourself a favor- go somewhere else where they actually care about the quality and quantity of food they sell you, because it isn’t here. I am actually surprised that this place remains in business.

The whole experience was wonderful! I have issues with swallowing my food, and they had no issues with fixing my sandwich in a way that was perfect for me to eat when dining out! I’m such a slow eater and I end up having the second half wrapped up to have for dinner later on. This unexpected place has become my favorite lunch time spot!! Always have time for yah and it’s always relaxing to stay in and enjoy your lunch with ice cream.

This place was so adorable. The person at the counter was also the person making the food. She was fast and made a great taco salad. It was reasonably priced. Fast service. Amazing! Totally would recommend.

Bangor Sandwich company is very mediocre.

Definitely the worst “Detroit Style Pizza” ive ever had. Pathetic flavor palette and dark-tasting sauce. Low effort. See my photo for reference.

The sandwiches are okay. The portioning is bizarre. My chicken salad was massive – but my steak bomb and turkey were very skimpy.

I do not understand the high rankings. Id avoid this restaurant and seek sandwiches elsewhere.

Tried out Bangor Sandwich Co. today, and wow—Detroit-Style Deep Dish Pizza is next-level! Crispy edges, gooey cheese, and the perfect flavor combo.

Just wonderful! I love their sandwiches. My favorite and highly recommended is the chicken salad sub named the Main Street. It is superb!!! Also their pizza is like no other around here. The sauce they use for pizzas and grinders is delicious. They are so friendly and accommodating! Wishing them years of success! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

We’ve been anxiously waiting for the Bangor Sandwich Company to open, especially after hearing they’d be serving Detroit style pizza. We’re very familiar with that pizza and just looking at pictures we got very excited. I am happy to report that we were not disappointed, at all! In fact, I didn’t even get pictures of the whole pizza’s as we just dug right in! We are excited to go back and try other foods they are offering, but were very happy with the pizza!!

I was referred here by a friend/coworker because they raved about the pizza and breadsticks, and I love Michigan style pizza! It definitely did not disappoint! Best pizza in the Bangor area! I can’t wait to go back to get a sandwich because this is a super cute deli that you’ll want to make your go to. Also, the baked goods looked incredible. They carry Moxie, and they have Giffords ice cream so you don’t need to travel all the way to Broadway. They have the good flavors too – strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter pie!
