Do not let the look or location keep you from trying out this place. It’s a type of hole-in- the wall place that is just amazing. Staff is great and very nice. The food was amazing! I had the best wonton soup! The egg rolls were also great. The teriyaki chicken was so good and flavorful with the fried rice and steamed veggies to perfection! My boyfriend had the spicy chicken and the whole meal he kept saying “holy sh**” so beware it is true to the name. We will be returning for sure. :))
Great, great lunch and experience. Love it. First time here and we were impressed!

Lubbock has a surprising number of decent Thai restaurants considering the location, but Bangkok will always have a special place in my heart. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything there. I didn’t end up loving. You absolutely can’t go wrong with the staples of beef noodle soup, and pad Thai.

The rice wasn’t cooked right with no seasoning and nasty taste
I would never buy food from Bangkok again to way expensive for a combination fried and with 2 egg rolls

This place is a hidden gem in Lubbock! Don’t expect fancy, but very low key family own traditional Thai place. The was amazing! very fresh, tasty and well portioned. We shared the chicken noodle soup and pad Thai and took some home.
It’s self service, you order from the counter and they will bring it to the table. Very affordable for the quality and quantity of the food. The place is on the small side, it has about 4 booth and 5 or so tables, so it gets busy pretty easily. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic Thai food.

I’ve been going to Bangkok for nearly two decades, and not once have I left disappointed. The food is consistently incredible, flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place where you know you’ll get something wonderful every single time.
I’ve gotten to know the owners and staff over the years, and they truly feel like family. They always greet us with kindness and genuine warmth. If I could afford to, I’d eat here every single day. That’s how much I love this place.
Bangkok isn’t just a restaurant to me, it’s a constant in my life. A safe haven. A little piece of joy in every bite. If you’re thinking about trying it, just do it. You’ll be so glad you did.

There are a lot of good eateries here but this is a top choice! Everything we’ve ever had is excellent. Friendly appreciative staff and reasonably priced for both quality and quantity.

Best, most authentic Thai food I’ve had in years. Fresh and spicy flavor. The Yum Woon Sen was great. I ordered medium spicy and it was just right for me. The beef noodle soup was also good. Portions were generous and the price was affordable. We will be back next time we’re in town.

I am never disappointed when I go to Bangkok – and I go at least 2 to 3 times a month. The place is always busy and it’s clear why; the staff is friendly and the food is INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend the beef noodle soup, spicy if you can handle it. Everyone I know who has tried it has become an instant fan. The portion size is massive and at just over $7 a bowl (a steal if you ask me), it’s hard not to fall in love!
