If you’re looking for a polished spot serving Asian cuisine, this is a place where real plates, folded napkins, and unhurried conversation still matter. We enjoyed Chicken Pad Thai and Pineapple Chicken Stir-Fry, with Fresh Spring Rolls to start. While many guests opted for takeout and DoorDash, we chose to dine in — and we’re glad we did. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Bangkok Thai is tucked quietly into a corner of Spokane, offering a calm, inviting space to savor both your meal and the moment. Only one very hard working & Friendly server, be patient.

Good choice for dinner. Quiet, fast and friendly. Super yummy. Just the right spiciness.

I have no idea if the food is any good. 3 couples arrived at 8:20, on a Friday night. Online it says they were open till 10. The open sign was on. They were posted to be open till 9. We were told that they could not accommodate us because it was near closing time. ? Hmm. No other customers. You lost some potentially good repeat customers. Again… hmmm.

Bangkok Thai is my go-to Thai restaurant in Spokane. The food and service are always great. On this visit I had the Yum salad with tofu. The vegetables were fresh, the yum dressing was delicious as usual, and the tofu was grilled perfectly.

The food was delicious! We got here at 6pm on a weeknight, and it was packed! We were still seated within about 15 minutes. While we waited I cannot even tell you how many to go orders went out – this place was busy!! We had not had Thai food before so this was a new experience for us. We ordered the mini spring rolls witch were very tasty and honestly I think i like the mini size even better than normal. We also ordered the chicken wings which were great, especially with sweet chili sauce that came with them. My husband loves Pho so he decided to try Tom Yum Soup (Chicken) He said it was delicious but it was on the hot side which he loved! I had the Pad Thai (Chicken). I’m not as brave with spice so I ordered a spicy level 2 (1-5 scale) and it was so delicious…. nice slightly sweet flavor up front and then the heat comes up. I would not go higher than a 2 for me and might even consider treating a level one spice next time. Over all, I’m so glad we tried this…..we will be back for sure!!

Good food with good sized proportions. The Pad Thai was tasty with the fresh rolls. The Tom Yum came out with a cooker flame. Delicious! Place is very clean and nicely presented start to finish!

Mother-Daughter date on 11/11/23. We were feeling Thai food so we found this restaurant on Yelp. The restaurant and restroom are clean. The interior esthetics is nice, cozy and welcoming.

We weren’t really hungry so we decided to share the Chicken Penang curry $19.00 and Pad Se Ew with beef $19.00. We also order Thai iced tea $4.00 which was on point, not too sweet. We both liked the Chicken Penang. The Pad Se Ew seemed a bit little off. The service was great. During this time, I thought that the food prices were pretty high.

We ate at the Bangkok Thai Argonne location on Saturday, August 5, 2023. The restaurant is cozy, well-maintained, and inviting. I ordered the chicken pad thai and it was seriously one of the best dishes I have consumed at a restaurant in a long time. It was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The restaurant makes adding the right amount of spice to your dish easy by asking you “how spicy you want it” on a scale of 1-5. I went with a “4” and it was just enough to make my nose run and deliver the kick I crave…I loved every bite. The portions are also very generous and the price I paid ($18) was well worth it.

Only reason why I can’t leave a 5-star review was because of the service. My wife and I met another couple for this dinner. We were never asked if we wanted drinks, we waited forever in-between different parts of the meal (putting in our order, getting our food, receiving our check, etc.), and weren’t even asked if we wanted the check split up between couples. The husband of the couple we were with asked our server for a beer (he initiated the request after we weren’t asked) and the beer never came. With that said, the server did apologize after the meal for the spotty service so I do want to recognize him for that.

Reading the other reviews it sounds like the service is usually really good at Bangkok Thai so I think we may have just visited them on a bad day but the taste of the food didn’t suffer at all. We will return.

I ate at Bangkok Thai in Spokane Valley this evening and it was wonderful. I found this restaurant rated highly online and those ratings were accurate.

The food was fresh, delicious and perfectly cooked. I had Pad Pak, a stir fry with lots of vegetables (carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, celery and more) and tofu. Yum! The sauce was light and served the vegetables and tofu instead of drowning them like some places would do. I went with two stars but will definitely bump this up the next time I’m there.

I went at 5 and I was the only person dining at that hour, but there was a steady stream of people picking up take-out orders. That should tell you everything you need to know about how popular this place is!

The large casting of temple carvings on the wall provides great atmosphere. The lady who served me was friendly and fun.

Great meal! Thank you!

Would not repeat. I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to try this place, but I was underwhelmed by the food. It’s also expensive for what you get, compared to other Thai restaurants in the area.

I had a Lad Na, and despite specifying that I wanted zero spiciness, the first time it came out with chili flakes in it. The chef said he hadn’t put any in, which is perhaps possible—maybe he’d just cooked a dish with lots of chili flakes and didn’t even bother rinsing the dish before frying up mine. But they remade the dish without complaint, and the second time there were no chili flakes, so I appreciated that. However, it was pretty flavorless. The chef might argue that’s because I wouldn’t add chilis, but most other Thai restaurants can make dishes with great flavor even at zero spice level.

The interior looks nice, but food needs to take priority over decor.
