I got the crispy tofu and veggie pad cashew with wide noodles. None of their curries are vegan. The roti is served with red curry. Therefore it is not vegan.
The crispy tofu had a really good crunch to it.
I added wide noodles to the veggie pad cashew thinking they would cook the noodles with the pad cashew, but it was served on the side. It was totally not their fault I was being complicated. I didn’t personally like the flavor, it was bit light. The dish was loaded with cashews though unlike some places I’ve had it at.
On street parking.
Highly recommend!!
We ordered two entrees of pad kee mao, one of which was tofu and veggies, with extra tofu. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. We took the food home and immediately noticed there was no tofu and just veggies in the one. I took a photo of the dish and the receipt, called the restaurant and spoke with the guy at the front who took the order and explained the issue. I opted to just take back the wrong order and get it replaced with the correct one.
When I arrived, 20 minutes later, no one had even started my order. The owner is apparently also the cook and needed to see what I brought in as well as the receipt before she attempted to cook it correctly. I don’t understand her point. She remade the same exact same dish and put in less than 3 pieces of tofu. There were no orders cooking and very few people in the restaurant each time.
I took it home to my cold half of the order, now about an hour old because she refused to remake the food when I called. The food was bland and didn’t even taste like Thai. The crispy rolls were soggy.
It’s a shame because this was once a really good restaurant.
